I've had pretty good success with shooting cast bullets out of a Ruger American Ranch rifle in 300 Blackout when I use a light crimp and seat the bullets just off the lands. Seems to work better for me than a firm crimp.
Nope I had someone else think that too. I checked the paper and the holes are round. The backer cardboard was wet and had other paper under it. So the paper was fastens loosely.
Good testing Josh, I at first thought the 5th target rounds started to tumble/keyhole? Wondering if you had any thoughts about it. Heck I could be wrong. Thanks for sharing you always make good content to get my wheels spinning again in the reloading room.
I just double checked the target paper and they are flying true. The cardboard backer was wet and there was another paper target behind it. So the target wasn’t flat against the backer. Good eye though, once you said that I rewatched it and checked. 👍
