This is the best suppressor video I have ever seen. Thank you so much for this useful information I appreciate it.

Wow, thank you! Check out some of my other content. Maybe the prequel video, 11 suppressor shootout, will appeal to you too.

Thank you for the video! I have effectively become a "suppressor-holic," and because of that, I enjoy watching testing like this and I like the fact that you are using some lesser known, non-bandwagon suppressors. The current amount of suppressor manufacturers is mind-blowing as compared to what it was when I purchased my first can nearly 20 years ago.

What a coincidence I have an Aero build with a 6 inch BA barrel. And I'm looking to get a Lahar 30L. I must say I could do without the dropping of the mag after the 2nd shot. It adds a lot of unnecessary noise to the video especially when we are listening for every shot. Might I suggest testing these on a bolt again as well as that is where these cans will really shine.

It is absolutely worth it, and I have no regrets about my decision to give the feds my fingerprints. Let's be honest if they want to come visit you they will, so might as well enjoy life and enjoy your range days even more!!! Buy a can brotha, it's so so so worth it

This had the potential to be a great video. Can't imagine doing a noise test within some sort of enclosure that magnifies the sound of everyrhing.
@sureshottactical5403
@sureshottactical5403 7 месяцев назад
That was the goal. In the prequel, 11 suppressor shootout, I describe the requirements, being indoor discharge, I.e. self defense, so the enclosed structure was part of the plan.

Hey guys! Great video and information, have y'all tested any HUXWRX suppressors or any flow through suppressors and how do they rank?
@sureshottactical5403
@sureshottactical5403 9 месяцев назад
A buddy has the Huxwrx 556ti, so not 300 AAC. It does a fine job mitigating gas, but not impressed with sound mitigation. The KGM R556 balances both better, but back to your question, no experience with 300 AAC.

I know resilient suppressors is a smaller company. But the Jolene is ranked very highly by Pew Science and thunderbeastarms. Up there with the nomad L Ti, Enticer L TI, and Hyperion. Was wondering if yall think it would sound similar to those silencers if they have ranked there.
@sureshottactical5403
@sureshottactical5403 5 месяцев назад
Thanks for your comment and asking. I really don’t have an opinion. As you can see, the essence of our testing was purely subjective based upon what we think about the suppressors that we own. We just don’t own that suppressor therefore, we just don’t have an opinion.
@koberoy5947
@koberoy5947 5 месяцев назад
@@sureshottactical5403 okay! Yeah I was just curious. You guys feel like your ratings kind of align with pew science ratings? I know yall don’t currently own a Jolene, but if it’s ranked similar to the nomad L and enticer and yall tested those, is yall opinion on par with Pew? Or does Pew rate those higher than yall do?

You're showing that the Aero Lahar-30 weighs more than a Sandman-S? Websites are showing 15.4oz for the Lahar-30 and 17.7oz for the Sandman-S Am I missing something?
@sureshottactical5403
@sureshottactical5403 26 дней назад
Often manufacturers weigh something without the muzzle mounting device. I would say, go off what I am actually showing, it’s not like I had my finger on the scale skewing the results. For example, the Sandman is known weight as the mount is built in, it is the KeyMo, but the lahar is unknown because it is HUB. They don’t know if you’re gonna use direct thread a DA428 KeyMo or whatever. The Lahar is for sure, anecdotally, a heavy can.

Hope I convey in the comments: Hyperion = great (if not best) suppression, lightweight, bigger, not hard use. Lahar = good suppression, heavier, smaller, hard use. If you are mag-dumping or full-send mode, and more a CQB size, Lahar for sure.

I just liked & subscribed. I’m in the market for the Noveske in this video. Did the Noveske cause a lot of gas in the face suppressed? And what suppressor matched best with it from your experience? 0:04
@sureshottactical5403
@sureshottactical5403 8 месяцев назад
Thanks for asking, but I’m not sure I can be much help. When we were shooting that day, it was very slow methodical shooting, just not enough volume to assess gas. However, a flow through design suppressor is going to be your best choice. I find 300 blackout to be a rather gassy experience and would recommend if possible a riflespeed adjustable, gas block to give you tools adjustment in the field. I did two videos on 300 blackout. Also check out the 11 suppressor shoot out if you haven’t already found that video too.

Awesome vid! Looking to buy my first suppressor for a 10.5” 300blk home defense setup. Would you recommend the Lahar 30 or 30L with that barrel length if you had to choose one for home defense?
@sureshottactical5403
@sureshottactical5403 10 месяцев назад
Thank you. I prioritize maneuverability over sound reduction, to some extent. I think the 30 is a good balance, but really, the L isn’t that much that longer. Flip a coin and either choice is great.

Have any experience with the Lahar 30k? I’m looking to use it on a 10.3” 300blk and 11.5/16” 5.56 ARs. I see the value of length/weight savings for the 16” application and the K model is currently $100 cheaper. You think it would be worth the weight/cost to go with the full 30 model? Great videos, this and the other 300blk suppresor comparison. Thank you for putting out this content!

@@White.Wall. In my experience you can run a .30 cal can on a 5.56, but you will sacrifice performance. In my humble opinion get a .30 cal can for your 9mm and 300blk's, and get a dedicated 5.56 can for your 5.56 guns. Your ears and overall performance of the gun WILL thank you! I have the Dead Air Wolfman that I run on my B&T APC9K 9mm sub gun and my 7" Daniel Defense PDW 300blk with both using a tri lug mount. I always run them in the long configuration with a wipe in it. With subsonic loads it sounds like a nailgun or even quieter haha! Would have no worries about my ear safety using it in my home to combat a would-be intruder. For my 5.56 guns I have a Griffin Armament Recce 5, and an Otter Creek Labs Polonium. The Polonium is quieter without ear pro on which makes sense because it's a smidge longer, and bigger in circumference (I use it on my 11.5" build, and it sounds reaalllyyyyy good! I just received my new muzzle device today for my 16" build. Excited to test both cans on my 16" build and compare it to my 11.5)! The Otter Creek Labs Polonium is one of the best bang for buck 5.56 cans on the market, and I've also heard their shorter Polonium K model is also very impressive too. I hope this helped you, but please just get a .30 cal can for their respective guns and 5.56 dedicated cans for their respective guns!
@White.Wall.
@White.Wall. Месяц назад
@@nickadkins7765 Thanks for the reply, Nick! I ended up getting the YHM R9 which sounds incredible with 9mm and 300blk, especially my hand loaded subsonics. Next can will either be the Anthem S2 or Polonium full size, but I will eventually get both to have all caliber specific. I’m glad to hear you like your polonium! I figure I’ll get the S2 first so I can suppress all my 5.56’s and 30 cals and then get the polonium. Kinda working from multi-use to caliber specific just so when I get each can I can try it on a bunch of guns, if that makes sense haha

Right. Interpret only within the confines of this 300 AAC test. Indeed, I’ve shot that 762-SDN-6 prior to the HUB thread conversion on my Delta 5 Pro 24” 6.5 creedmoor and it sounds really great (though the weight wasn’t good for barrel harmonics).

How did the Wolfman compare to the 30 cal cans?
@sureshottactical5403
@sureshottactical5403 6 месяцев назад
I run the full length direct thread Wolfman on my 6” 300 AAC. I recall when Steve shoots it on his rifle, his comment was flattering, that might be in the video, not sure. I would add, that since it’s a larger bore, meaning potential for gas / sound to escape, it also is larger than many cans to capture more gas / sound, so overall, it’s balanced.

No offense but, you used a lot of suppressors that aren’t typical to us users. Sandman and others are common so you have a few. I have a HuxWrx 7.62Ti and rad .45 that both work on 300 bulk sub. I also have other common suppressors. They tend to be cheaper as well.

The 14.5 Suppressor Shootout was the sequel to the 11 Supressor Shootout video. I know I explained the collection of cans better in it. Basically my friend Steve wanted the quietest suppressor, regardless off size, plus add in whatever 300 AAC compatible suppressors I already owned. Not everyone wants a huge quiet suppressor, they want a balance of side and decibel reduction, and there’s usually a weight consideration too, and indeed some you mentioned better reflect that. Thanks for the comment.
