That second spiker was a ripper shot. But with so many Hinds around it's better for hunting if you shoot the Hinds. Keeps herd numbers down and avoids auntie DOC sending in the cullers.
Yeah good point, we had actually decided not to take a meat animal due to the length of our walk out but made the most of those lads being on the last ridge we needed to walk down. Cheers for the comment
Great vid guys an awesome footage. You might need to start tipping a few hinds over to help with the tucker for better stags, great seeing lots of animals but there comes a time when we as hunters need to start shooting a few more before DOC decides it needs to do search & destroy culls
great video, really enjoyed it .but may i add, you made a comment in ya video about not seeing any mature stags, but yet you cull out the spikers . cull those hinds before the choppers or 1080 does and ya little spot of paradise will be gone.

probably should have taken a yearling hind or a pig or something for the meat, just to keep the numbers in check, it's great too see that many animals, we just don't want it getting to the point where doc kills them all.
Excellent I am a hunter, but I do not have permission to hunt in Iran and it is forbidden to hunt a ram. It is unfortunate that the dictator leader does not allow hunting and only relatives and heads of state are allowed to hunt I wish I could be with you for this moment.😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔

hate these rich people that lock up their land for more rich useless pricks to come and shoot fat 30 point stags, and protect it from us that don't mind putting in an effort to get somewhere, then have to hunt amongst the 1080 infested public waste land
