Now learning russian, a novice at heart, i wish youll say each word atleast 2-3 times but ill have to click the replay button. Im now learning the alphabet and syllables however it shouldnt prevent me from learning simple everyday words so Im using this video as an opportunity to fine tune my hearing to russian and russian accent. Overall great vid. 😊

I only know russian because of my parents even though I'm Latvian and I can't write that much quite funny really I can speak it more or less fluently but I can't write in Russian. Russian may seem hard but in my baised opinion its slightly more easier than German or Spanish

Splendid effort ..I wish there were a gender of the word besid it .
@tbarrelier
@tbarrelier 2 года назад
Gender in Russian is pretty straightforward: if the word ends in a consonant it is masculine. If it ends in а or я it is feminine (thought there are inherently masculine nouns ending in я like дядя (uncle)); nouns ending in oe are neutral. There are nouns ending in ь which are usually feminine, but some are masculine.
