Bad bits - No ground connection for metal casing.. Dodgy paint job ! Needed another coat ! Specification plate painted over. Good bits - Enthusiastic work ! Entertaining video.

The best arc welders are 3phase Direct current DC oil filled welding plants, they give a very smooth current to your work you are welding. The oil is to keep the plane cool so you can weld all day. You have renovated a very simple AC welding plant and you have very little welding experience as you did not prepare your welding this is not a tutorial on welding , this what not to do before welding MMA ?.

Not a good work. Bad electrial safety, metal parts not grounded, bad input cable, missing cover for the fan .... don't do a repair like this! Dangerous!
