I commend you two, for your hard work and tenacity. I'm sixty years old, and have built dozens of homes (by myself) in the desert, mountains etc, far from access to utilities, so I know full well the challenges you face. Good for you both.

...now, i do not know if you'll both see this, but, i will say this. I have seen the end of your videos up to the current date of 12/6/19, and i have subscribed. What caught my attention? Him? Him, you might ask. This is a man, that knows his wife, realizes she is not as strong as he is, works with her, teaches her, jokes with her, and at all times, treats her like the lady she is. That made the difference for me. My wife and i are getting ready to buy, 350+ acres. With that, comes my workshop 75' x 200'. Running 3 phase and normal 120/240 for my wood shop. In your videos, concerning solar and its hookup, and your freezer, i learned alot. I've learned enough from watching your interaction, i would almost be willing to pay your hubby to come down to my shop and wire it up. But, that's for another time. You have many on here that listen to what your posting, and are learning. Thank you kindly for taking the time to explain what your doing. Until next time, Scottishxpride, Texas.

You both work great together. Wonderful family. I was raised by a father that was in construction. I Learned as the years went by all the tricks of the trade. One thing I noticed in the construction of the A Frames that no ridge board was used. I noticed that all the trusses were tied together at the top of the A by plywood. I learned something new. A lot of today standards are somewhat different then when I was learning. Great job you guys . I enjoy the videos.

I only with my husband and I were younger and in better shape so that we could build our own home in this manner. My husband LOVES A-frame home shapes. He has always wanted one. We are 35 years too late it seems. Too many physical problems now. But, congratulations! You two will never regret doing this.
