No V0 SD/ED so difficult to tell if the first group vertical was velocity driven. Second group horizontal was improved due to a marked calming of the wind. Thrown charges can easily account for much of the first group vertical. You need to shoot more shots, 5 is not significant. You do not know if the barrel requires a warm up or not, or what it does if you change propellant before cleaning.
My Dad tried staball in his 7mm mag and he wasn't happy, but he seems to be optimistic using LRT. He has some of bis reloder 26 left. He has a honey of a load with that one. He runs a 184gr berger on his reloder 26. It's a crazy accurate load. He can shoot the push pins at 100 yards every time. He runs a seekins havoc with a nightforce scope.
Dont mean to be rude, but my 6.5 Creed will waste that Dashers grouos even in wind. Inherently the Dasher is more "wind resistant" I run my Dasher in extreme wind during harsh wind season in the Eastern Cape. Try Staball 6.5 and get case fill. Get chronograph data. Seating consistency is key. Magnum primers ftw
I don't mean to be rude so I apologize if I come off that way, but a lot of your testing seems to lack some key element. You change too many variables at once, don't shoot enough shots, don't have chrono data, etc, and it often leads to you having more questions than answers at the end. I would HIGHLY recommend loading a few more rounds to use as foulers/sighters and to warm up the barrel before shooting groups. I would also recommend shooting at least 10 shots of anything other than a velocity workup if you want the results to be even remotely meaningful (and ideally more like twenty). In this video, since both 5 shot groups were of the same load, you need to look at them as an aggregate; a single 10 shot group rather than separate 5 shot groups. And it doesn't look like your rifle likes that load. On all your dasher videos someone comments how slow you run them, have you tried working up anything faster with different powders? Just a thought. Thank you for your content sir, I greatly enjoy and appreciate it
This staball load is a mess around with load so that’s why I am changing variables. This channel is really me testing a ton of different things. Only some videos have a true end goal. I have a solid target 105 hybrid load for the dasher so this is more of a fun test. Almost all of what I do on this channel is just fun testing. We are only sometimes looking at serious development for a specific goal
What’s interesting is having a dasher and running it at less than straight 6BR speeds. You are 100 fps slow and have been with every load you shot out of this Dasher. Clearly the load isn’t stabil no matter what the es and sd say. Yet u keep beating a dead horse.
