in California if you hold a CDL and get a ticket the system would allow you to go to Traffic school to remove the infraction. However, if it's in a truck, you just a** out.

My mom raised three on her own and we were NEVER without a roof or food. I wish she lived closer to me because I would hug her right now. She was a bus driver too and she made SURE her driving record was clean: No at-fault accidents, no running red lights, did not speed, not even a parking ticket. She made sure she didn’t drink alcohol 24 hours before shift and made sure she passed those random drug test by being drug free at all times. Even when my aunties would smoke my mom left the room. Being a bus driver is no joke. It’s very strict. She made sure she kept her job for her kids. I’ll always love her for that.
Yeah. Your Mom was a responsible adult. This woman said she knew it was coming but did not seem to try to mitigate the problem. Besides that, responsible adults do not put themselves in situations to lose a good job supporting themselves and their children! I have NO children but had to take in my then 12 yo sister at the age of 23 because our mother was mentally unstable and married to a shiftless rapist ex-convict. I was in survival mode and terrified because I wasn't ready for all of that but my younger sister needed me. I functioned as a fully GROWN woman and by Jah's merciful help, we never missed a meal, lived in a nice 2 bedroom apartment in a nice neighborhood and I had a new 2door Honda Civic coup. NO one helped me support her! Not my mother. Not her man whore father (he has 22 children by different women, 3 by a married woman & 2 by our mother) I paid for EVERYTHING, including school clothes, salon appointments and her other needs. To this day, my mother has never even acknowledged anything nor apologized once. I no longer look for it. In fact, I feel sorry for her as it's so obvious guilt has taken a toll on her because she looks old and weary in the face. Relationships with her children are strained. She's now a bitter and angry woman in her mid 70s. So, yeah, I feel sorry for her and constantly ask God to help me freely forgive from the heart. Carrying intense stress and baggage that does not belong to you and that you really are not ready nor equipped to handle, eventually takes it's toll. However, I now clearly see where Jah carried me when I was unable to walk on my own. Now, my sister is fully grow with 2 children of her own. I married a wonderful man 15 yrs my senior who adores me, treats me very well, provides, protects and covers me. I thank Jah for the blessings He's rewarded me with💖 I hope the lady in the video will set her pride aside and get her children out of them harsh and hard streets before they will need therapists to get over damage she's inflicting on them by her own ego and pride.

Damn! I used to drive for Marta and I was there from 2011-2018. I don’t know her and never seen her before. I am so very sorry to here of her going through this. Emissions in Atlanta, is hell if your car doesn’t pass the emissions test. For those people who don’t know, if your car doesn’t pass the emissions test, then you HAVE to get the necessary repairs fixed on your vehicle so that you can then pass the emissions. This all makes sense because of the number of children that she has, she most likely couldn’t afford to get the car/truck fixed. This story is heart felt. Probablydidn't want to get married because even though she's driving for Marta she was possibly still getting benefits from the state with that amount of children . I am not sure how it works in Atlanta but generally if you marry someone then their financial situation comes into play and She would likely get less assistance from the state. These are just my thoughts.

First if your struggling with 1 or 2 kids why bring more into the equation that's the problem with our young queens you don't bring other lives into it especially if you see your having a hard time with the ones you have already. Had my first daughter at 17, in HS graduated the following year went to college a big University for a year, had my 2 other daughters back to back. This was in the 90's, still when shame was a thing, I'm so glad that I was shamed to put a STOP to the madness and stop having these babies, back to back to back...I easily could've ended up just like her with multiple kids and struggling. Thank GOD my kids are adults now, but those 3 stressed me and their dad out, I can imagine what 8 do to your mental!

No they don't suspend CDL for that. I am a CDL driver and I've had an accident. It does nothing to the commercial license. There's more to the story than what she's saying. Marta also is definitely behind ALLLLLLLLL of their drivers. I've seen guys there that they put in rehab and gave them their jobs back. Something in the milk ain't clean with this driving story
So there's a lot of stuff going over people's heads. First off, I don't know why she chose to have 8 children but hey they're here now and she has to make a way for them. I'm sure as a bus driver, her and the BD were making enough to make ends meet but didn't have anything to put up to save. She said she was riding dirty because her vehicle was old and didn't pass inspection so they wouldn't renew the plates. I'm sure she couldn't afford a newer vehicle living check to check. She couldn't pay the tickets because once again she's living check to check! She probably didn't get much government assistance because she's a bus driver and she has a " spouse" . I don't think the family has disowned her but most people don't have the space to accommodate 8 children and 2 adults. Also if she's not working, she has nothing to contribute to a light bill, water bill and groceries at the mom or Grandma's home. We can all sit back and say what she did wrong in life but you can literally tell that her circumstances are already beating her up and she feels horrible. On top of that, she has a new baby so PPD is still possible. I'm sure she feels like a failure as a mother, hopeless and scared to lose her children. Tough love is great but a little compassion and encouragement would really help her right now. Praying for her and those babies 😢 🙏

God didn't make any mistakes for each of her children trust me. God is in control over her families life. Could b because she was always alone being the only child. My kid are 14 years apart. I had my first baby as an E3 in the Navy and was broke as a joke. When you have one small “pie” and have more children everyone gets less, everyone eats less. I chose to get a bigger pie before adding to my family. When I had my second child I was a Lieutenant in the Navy working on my Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. In my option having more kids while struggling is a form of child abuse. I wanted a larger family (not 8) but I also wanted to provide more than just food and water to my children.
What's disturbing is we live in a modern society, yet this continues. Parents need to educate their kids, so they don't start having babies in high school, then never stopping, smh

I feel for her however driving is not the only job out there, if it was me and I knew my job was on the line I would have started applying for other jobs. Once she lost her income loosing everything else was inevitable.
It’s just hard to accept low wages when you used to earn a decent wage. I moved to Atlanta and went in interviews but they all wanted to pay far less than my worth according to my pay history. Marta is probably her only shot at a decent wage in Atlanta.

Wow. I have one and married twenty yrs. I told myself as a child, as a teenager, as a young adult I do not want a lot of kids. I prayed for one. She came when I was forty , four years ago and my husband was 44 but she came and I’m extremely grateful and blessed. Kids are costly, especially nowadays. My heart goes out to her and her babies. I've always been told, the best lesson is through experience. I'm sure she's learning from her poor decisions, now I'd the time for compassion. We've ALL made bad decisions in life. I think they're a bit more to the story than just tickets. She may have broke the the Georgia state code for commercial drivers. Plus she didn't give a number on how much she owed the DMV. Yes, But two speeding tickets in Georgia will cause your CDL to be disqualified for 3 months.. same thing happened to me. Same Story same situation, same Company But in 2012.. My out come was to Start life over, .. By Trusting God and not man.. and to pray Every Day.. people in my life fell off.
