I bought this book by Lorna Scobie to help me rekindle my love of art by embarking on a creative challenge everyday. Here is the second video of me continuing this art challenge. Thank you, I enjoyed doing the river scene and seeing it come together. This book is great for giving me ideas and gets me drawing things I wouldn't usually do. Thanks for watching and happy to hear you are enjoying the videos.

I wish she would rerelease this book in mixed media paper ( so I could use watercolour more) . I love this book but shy away from a lot of the prompts because I am scared of messing up. I need to buckle down, get brave and move on. 😛 you did an amazing job.

Thanks for sharing. I’m putting tracing paper between the pieces that transfer. The book is getting thicker!!

Yes is very nice , keep on , this 5 books of Lorna Scobie are wonderfull , i finished mines the blue one and the red one and i made half of the 3 others i continue , i enjoy them , the paper is enough good for all sorts of media , crayons gouache watercolor neocolor fineliner but not alcool fineliner . Thanks for your videos

I think I might do the yellow creativity one next, I am really enjoying the blue art one so far. Thank you for the media suggestions, I have not tried gouache or neocolor yet so maybe something to try soon. 😊

@@World-Wondera-Art Yes all the medias goes but you should not insist on the paper and not wet too much , the neocolors 2 are wonderfull with the water brush it makes sort of watercolor or you can deep them in the water before , not for too small details , i wish you good continuation , i do not know how to make videos , and now i am too old for that .

I bought this but dont know what pens to use, I tried a fine linner and it went through to the next page so dont know what pens to use

Hi Sue, I found the Posca pens didn't go through to the paper, you can get ultra fine 0.7mm of those. The fine liners I used on some of the pages were Pentel Pointliners and found that those were ok on top of paints and pencil. They are ok if used lightly on their own as well. Any brush pens, markers and felt tips all went through so I am avoiding using those. Hope that helps 😊
