Did you cut the pre strung string from your training racket? And if yes what string did you restring it with and what tension?

In my bag... 1) Humidome. 2) Calf Compression Sleeve. 3) Tenex Tennis Elbow Shock Absorber. * 4) Bauerfeind Sports Elbow Support. * 5) Knee brace with patella gel pads. * 6) Ankle Brace Compression Support Sleeve. * * I rarely pack them. I switched badminton halls & refuse to play with nylon shuttles. 7) Rx Sport Goggles. I received verbal threats. I've seen people get hit by racket & shuttlecock resulting in lens shattering into the eye. Unfortunately, as an advocate for safety & fair play, I've had my health & safety threatened. I walk off court & decline future challenges which makes them more angry. Opponents say if I do not comply with request I wear contact lenses instead of my everyday eyeglasses they will smash shuttlecock at my eye.🤦‍♂ If I sustain life changing eye injury - too bad. I must start the match at minus 10 & not be permitted to hit smash. I calmly educate them about eye health & safety before reporting them to front desk. Apparently it is unfair my eyes are protected & theirs is not. "Why should I have to spend $20 to buy sport eyewear to protect my eyes to make it fair?" 🤦‍♂ Perhaps some people have unknown mental health issues & are bringing issues to court.

No. Leave Humidome on the tube 24/7. Works best with distilled water. When beads shrink submerge Humidome in water. Due to pandemic I stopped playing for 6 months & forgot to maintain the Humidome. The shuttlecock had black spots from all the moisture.

Happened a couple times after games. They challenged us. Usually beginner level players; not skilled enough to be intermediate level. They go around trying to hit everyone in the face, including players who just learned to hold a racket. 🙄They missed us! 😁 They lost 'cause they lift the entire match 🤦‍♂. I guess they didn't appreciate power clears, drops, drives, & smashes down the middle. 😂 I guess it is too much to ask for mutual respect. I could have hit a net smash but for their safety hit it towards the base line.

Training rackets are usually even heavier than cheap racket. They can weight 160, 180, even 200 gram. I even tape the head to give it an extra resistance.

Separate wallet for badminton funds! Thats the only thing I would add. To help me budget for badminton I stash allocated funds in that wallet. If the fund runs out no more badminton till I the next salary day 😁

I'd always carry my phone charger and power cord, just in case. Also, a pain relief spray like a cold spray or a heat spray and lastly a cotton crepe bandage. Hope that helps :)

Hey there really nice work you do One doubt I purchased Astrox 100 zz what I noticed that the cover of the racket Inside it there was tag in which it was written made in Taiwan and the astrox series has two types of cover one for the normal ones and the other for the made in Japan which have some shiny and glossy looks . I have that shinny and glossy look cover but still can you help out like are covers really made in Taiwan

This is excessive packing if I'm honest. For badminton what really is essential is 2 or 3 Rackets, 2 Grips*or a roll), Shuttle tube, Scissors (For if string breaks) & Shoes. Everything else is just excessive and definitely not essential. Especially your sponsored product is not necessary at all. Your muscles won't recover any quicker from using that. It might feel like it is but that's not how muscles work. It's just waste of time. Your muscles simply recover from enough rest and good sleep. Warming up with maybe jump rope would be a much better thing to bring. For those with a car, sure you bring everything. Otherwise just travel light. Why bring all this excessive "non-essential" stuff? Training racket is terrible for your wrists, would not advice training with heave rackets like that and damage your wrist. Ps. I am not saying you shouldn't do or bring what you want. I am saying that out of these 31 items only 5 of them are essential for badminton which is a racket, grip, small scissor, Shuttle tube & shoe.

yes, you can string past the recommend string power but may i suggest 28lbs is really enough unless you're an athlete

I do not have the 88D Pro. I believe the warranty is 6 months from day of purchase. Going over the recommended tension cancels the warranty. Also removing the strings after the racket breaks cancels the warranty.

Hi there, I have a question regarding stencil ink on badminton strings. I was told by many including stringers who is against stencil ink, as they say it might cause the string to break prematurely, and also affect the overall performance, would you mind chipping in on whether it's true ? Or stencil ink has got no affect whatsoever on the racket and the string ?

yes ofc its true, using stencil ink is obviously better than the normal markers like sharpies but i dont think it has a big impact on how long thr string will last tho. Stringers most probably would recommend using the actual ink, but i think its really not a very big deal if u use markers. its really up to you in the end.

not the first time im hearing of training racket, but i never put too much thought into it. are there actual rackets made for this purpose? like they are literally called training rackets? or do you just use whatever cheap heavy racket u have for spare? maybe like a 20 yr old muscle power or something?

Yeah, people used to train with a squash or tennis racket previously. now there's purpose made training racket which looks like a normal racket but weighs heavier. Even Yonex have their own training racket nowadays, TR0 and TR1.

For Training days i keep everything in a Dunlop backpack. 1) 3 Rackets 2) Shoes 3) Spare shirt for the summer 3) Towel 5) 1 Tube of shuttles 4) Scissors 5) 1 spare grip - mainly for helping out others 6) Ice spray in case of injuries 7) Jumping Rope for warming up 8) 1 Banana and/or energy bar. 9) Water bottle 10) 1 or 2 pack of strings, so i can give it to my stinger right away ;-)

Nope, never cleaned the soles of my shoes unless the hall is extremely dusty. By then we have a 'slipmat' which is a piece of wet towel we leave on the floor and we wipe our shoes with it in-between rallies.

maxbolt have a series of training rackets which is the Maxbolt 120/150/180.

Mine is a Yehlex trainer racket. Its soooo old that Im not sure its still being produced. You can use any other training racket. I've left links in the description below.
