Dude, I could seriously spend days listening to all 13 of 311's albums, watch videos of all their live performances - 100 times over - and not get tired of it.

I love so much 311, eu quero outro show no Brasil, como no Festival SWU em 2011. Obrigado pelo Rock N' Roll meus caros!!! I want another show in Brazil, as at the SWU Festival in 2011. Thanks for Rock N 'Roll my dear !!!
Rocking a long sleeve black tee I bought in 1994 and this pops up today. I might be old but damn I've seen some cool bands...wanna see these guys again! Killer energy...beautiful as you and they like to dance ✌
So happy to have caught y’all this summer in Las Vegas! This song was a pleasant surprise :) Was REALLY hoping you would’ve played your Self Esteem cover though...such a fantastic cover guys!!!
Andy M I agree! Chad's signature snare drum sound was unique: high pitched and resonant like a timbale. It made this song in particular sound more like drum and bass like. Other bands in the 1990s and 2000s had the high pitched snare drum crack too, just not as high as Chad's. But my friends who are into more traditional rock music tell me it sucks because it sounds weird and out of place. They like his new snare sound better. It hurts to hear that, since I like his old snare sound better. I wonder why he doesn't use both: the higher one for the old songs and the lower one for the new songs.
@@melissaportillo9964 it was never a piccolo. Piccolos are super shallow (3 inches). When he had that sound he had an OCDP high ply vented snare drum with a Remo Falam or heavier head on it. If you look back at videos pre him playing Pearl you can see the snare in some vids. More plies = higher pitch. Vents made it drier and louder. Most snares are 10-12 plies of wood. The OCDP sound was usually 20-40 plies. Not sure exactly what his was but he also played a Pearl vented free floating snare on occasion.

I wouldn't mind these guys doing reggae vocals and lingo, and I wouldn't mind them doing a song about being original, but the combination of the two seems strange
