Wow 70pound wheel n tire ,like having a bag of cement on each corner turning ,That’s why I think belt driven is good somethings got to give, I’ve been wrong before lol Great stuff MP
Good video. Always loved this shit. I agree with the initial bite of the OL3 and if its related to inside spacing, could you shave the lug to make it shorter and therefore increase the spacing to give it more bite? I like the 16s alot and there isnt enough options for atv tires. OL3 dont bite even as good as a bkt for wheelies and stuff but in clay at fat daddies, the OL3 shine over the bkt easily.
The bkts do bite well in the center. but because they're so skinny that usually leads to them just digging a hole LOL. The extra contact surface on the outlaw 3 keeps it up on top for the most part
@@MudPuppyOffroad The OL3 are wider than the bkt. Im gonna get mine shaved and also increase that space by shaving down the inside lug some. Reduce weight and increase bite.
What would you recommend for a rzr 900 trail? It’s lifted 2 in and I think with the shocks maxed it would clear 31’s I might have to change the front a arms
What do you think about OL2? i have 31 skinnies on my rubicon for a while, they worked good for me, came with msa wheels on them for free, but they where heavy.
So the 32 Aztec is close to the same size as a 30 silverback or a 31 OG outlaw? Wanting 32 Aztecs but unsure if they’ll fit on my obs 420 with a 2 inch lift and 3 inch stretch without cutting up my plastics to much
Hey mudpuppy thanks for your awesome reviews, quick question for you, I have a 2017 sportsman 1000xp with raked rear arms and 2 inch lift, I have 30 inch Bighorns for trail but want to have a set of mud tires on my other 5.5 x 14 rims. Was really wanting 32 inch Aztecs but cant justify the close to $2000 dollar price for them when they want 600 for tires, 480 American shipping plus tax, duties and brokers fees to land them here in Canada:( I also believe the original outlaws are a similar situation from highlifter. Anyways if you had the choice of something else what would it be? I can get cryptids, mudder inlaws, terminators and a few others for example. Thanks for your time, Dave
Put the nos nozzle in the air box spray down the Tb. Dry and add fuel with a tuner. Less things to go wrong with dry and don’t have very small fuel jets to get clogged.
@@MudPuppyOffroad Any idea who sells the 32 backs new? I can't seem to find anyone online who has them for sale? I'm starting to think they're discontinued
i just bought a talon...... without lift what size tire and what tire would you prefer..... i live in florida also and am riding in mud over 75% of the time? was thinking about the aztecs, bkt's, motohavocs, or OL3
Btw I have ran the 30 11 14 silverback and it actually rides a little better than the 32 cause tread spacing is a little closer in the center I loved them they just to much traction they broke stuff
This tire is witchcraft!! Hahahaha....def leaning towards some Aztecs....everybody says but ThEy dONt lOoK gOoD, hell I think the look damn good and mean....looks don't get ya out the ruts tho
@@MudPuppyOffroad I will admit last time I looked was about a month ago and I dont believe I went to specifically to their sight, total dumbass moment on my part. I sold my can am about 3 years ago amd stopped riding all together until the logging company I work for was practically giving away a total pawpaw forman 400 they had as a backup, with low miles but im assuming pretty high hours since it was used for controlled burning in pine plantations. Would you opt for a rebuild and buy a 450 cylender and h.c. piston or just do a gr? Also having a weird problem, factory junk airbox was broke so replaced it and ran a snorkel while I was there, went through the carb with new gaskets, pulled the tank and cleaned it twice thinking Maybe that was my issue but it was spotless. I havent taken it even rack deep yet unless it's leaning in a rut, but every time I do it will start to sputter and die. Pull it out, airbox is bone dry, oil is perfect, pull the spark plug all looks great but I'll drain the bowl on the carb and it always has water in it when this happens, drain it and it cranks and runs perfect. Only thing suspect I've seen is about a 4 inch rubber line coming off a hose barb on the left hand side that has what looks like a rubber slug with a factory little spring clamp on it that may be letting water in. I hate to be the super long question in the comments guy, but any advice or things to check would be awesome. Love the content btw and you make my kinda reviews, never really been a Honda guy but your new build on portals is a beast and is actually really impressive how well it goes.
They are just a show tire. I don't mess with fucboi stuff. There are very few situations where that much tread increases performance. They are terrible on sandy trails. They're very heavy which kills handling and brakes shit unnecessarily. I can get similar or better performance out of much lighter tires
So Bc I’m pussy and have a 2018 Rubicon Deluxe automatic DCT EPS I’ve been running 28 OL1 with a 2 inch lift all around. Would those be my best bet for tires with stock gears or is there something better I could go to without any GR? I ride FL same type of stuff you mostly ride in. Also I don’t have FB so can’t check your page for answers. : /
XMARGH he has a video I think it was the videos with test fitting 34.5 outlaws in the rubi, said it was the perfect size but they were designed to spin they have no curve In the lugs so they don’t bite hard
Change the oil, pull the spark plugs, spin it over to get water out cylinder. Probably spray some wd40 in the cylinder first. Change air filter, check front rear dif for water if it’s present flush with diesel and put new gear oil in. If your bike has a cvt, check the belt cover for mud in the bottom as it has an intake, clear the mud/water out of there, maybe change belt if needed. If you got transmission fluid change it til clean. All fluid changes should take about 4 tries to get clear again.
Do I need do I need a gear reduction rancher 420 to turn outlaws 29.5 and how much can you make me one for real am in a money pinch so can you make it under 400
Hey mud puppy I have 29.5 assassinators on my renegade and they are awesome they pull way better then the silverbacks (clearly) but i have not had one issue with axels, diffs or clutch
