This is one of the most convincing demos of this synth. Almost without looking at the screen, I can recognize many of the songs, with the same mood in each one. Really, congrats on your good taste and skills in programming these lovely sounds.
Grabbed both the Classic and the Ambient pack of patches, man, you're seriously good at this! I've been into synths all my life (I'm 50), and programmed a lot myself through the years, and imho you're doing a fantastic job!! Thanks and KUTGW, looking forward to more patch packs from you for the Prologue.
Fantastic demo of very nice sounding patches. I just bought a Korg Wavestate. You convinced me to add a Prologue soon. I just wish my keyboards could play more than "When the Saints Come Marching In."
@@aldi9802 Hi John, you transfer them via the Korg Librarian app, available on the Korg website. The direct link is in the pdf provided with the collection of patches. 😎
The lack of sequencer is what’s keeping me from pulling the trigger. I don’t have to have to midi sync to my elektron boxes every time to get a sequence going..
Hi , Great sounds! Do you include patch sheets or some type of documentation? looking to learn to program my own sounds and would love study your patches. They are awesome and really make this synth shine.
There's 250 pre-built patches on this synth. Most aren't half bad, and some are very nice to my ear. A lot suffer from being over-the-top sales floor fodder, but even those are pretty decent once you adjust them.
@@TheParanoidAndroid79 Yeah I ended up getting one of these. I do think it is a very nice modern analogue synth. A lot of the factory patches are pretty flat to my ears. But it's really easy to edit and save or create patches from scratch. I got one of the new Prophet 5's recently and the Prologue compliments it well. The Prophet is a much darker sounding synth and way more versatile. But the Prologue while less versatile, does have a unique sound and is capable of some nice punchy bass tones. Gonna add an OB6 to the arsenal next.
Hello, great patches, I've subscribed. I saw you made patches also for the Minilogue XD, do you still own both? I'm planning to get a Prologue but I don't know if it makes sense to have both if they are too similar, what do you think?
Hello, I bought some of your sounds for the Mini XD, which are great! Do you think the mini xd and the Prologue sound pretty similar, or if not how would you say they are different?
They are the same. It's just the MInilogue XD has 4 voices (you can play 4 notes at a time) verses either 8 or 16 voices on the Prologue. You can get the same sounds and 4 voices gives you a nice sound. 8 Voices is easier to voice chords if you don't have a handle on harmonic structure that is required to get the right chordal sound out of 4 notes. I think the best value is the Minilogue XD since it creates the same sound. You can track it if you need more voices.
I don't think minilogue and prologue files/programs are interchangeable because the files have different file extensions. Just last week I tried uploading a few minilogue programs a had friend created into my prologue and it didn't work.
sounds terrible. no depth. no detail. why does every Prologue video sound like a soup of f/x. bro it is not natural to have a 2 second reverb on every patch.
