For pet bowls, I use a bronze (brass good to) bowls, the copper (or really most metals with a +2 charge (divalent cation) has antibiotic properties, to which bacteria have never (to our knowledge) been able to develop an immunity. Works AWESOME!i neglect it fr a day or t Before, the water dish would have a bit of slime coating after a day or two (a microbial mat). Now, never had an issue, even when I neglect it for a day or two. Now my kitty kat has no trepidation about drinking from his bowl, super important for male cats (Thats what killed my first cat, kidney/bladder problems from not enough liquids). So, the cat is happy and healthy, I don't have to clean the bowl religiously, and if I neglect it for a few days, it won't get gross and lead to all kinds of problems. Also, looks way better than a normal bowl; and girls like that you love and put in effort for a living thing you love. Its a win win win. I just wish hospitals/nursing homes/etc would adopt brass or bronze for all their door knobs and communal areas that are touched a lot. Would prevent much disease, thus saving heaps of money overall (brass/bronze is more expensive than steel(. Oh well, the c***s running the show only care about their financial performance over the last quarter, so they incur greater overall financial cost to bolster the bottom line long enough for them to cash out. Not to mention all the lost lives......Makes me mad!

If you have a squeamish stomache, use caution when removing the drain cover from your dishwasher especially if you have never done it. It's nauseating!

Excellent pointing out of things/areas which need cleaning that a typical person may not notice. But: pretty sketchy on details of how to complete the cleaning on several things. For example, if you remove window blinds and get them wet, try cleaning them without hanging them up somewhere. Impossible! Don't take them off the window and try to wash in the tub! The little tool which was shown would work on only slightly dirty blinds; otherwise you need a few soft cloths and some hot water. Start from the center of the blinds and wipe outward, first catch the thick dust then wipe again with a clean side.

I'm not trying to be mean but I can't believe you suggested using BLEACH on a wooden knife block. Seriously? I don't want my knife block touched by bleach! No way. It can cause blindness, respiratory failure and releases a toxic gas if it comes in contact with acids. It causes burns and is toxic to aquatic organisms. After using it that odor lingers on too. Also, while cleaning the toaster is a keen idea, do you know how many chemicals a stainless steel cleaner has in it? At least 3! Not only is it extremely flammable but it also causes organ damage in the cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal diseases and respiratory failure. To your readers/watchers I suggest instead to use baking soda and vinegar for those tasks. In fact, I use them both to clean almost everything in my house. Vinegar is anti microbial and anti bacterial and it won't hurt you. I know you have good intentions. This was not written to be abusive in any sort of way. I am simply concerned for the well being of all life forms and want to help our planet return to the way it use to be before man destroyed it. I hope you will consider my suggestions in future vlogs. Peace be with you all.

Diana Nighthaven Omar Gosh Fam I'm sure they didn't mean straight bleach, but a 1:10 dilution. In any case, I personally would not use bleach on wood because wood is porous and it might damage the block and the knife if not done properly. A 1:10 dilution of bleach is a safe and effective way to eliminate viruses, so if there was the possibility of someone in my home having a intestinal viral infection (Norovirus) that could be passed around, I would not hesitate to use that solution on kitchen and bathroom surfaces. Like you I do use vinegar, baking soda, and salt instead of commercial products because I'm not sure what exactly is in the products because I do not have a chemistry degree.

Denise Angonese We don't really know if she was referring to a dilution of bleach or not. She didn't say. The dilution of bleach is not the issue however, it is the fact that bleach is used at all. I commend you for being concerned enough about your family's well being by using all natural, harmful-free products to clean with. Suggesting others that it is okay to use it albeit at a 1:10 solution though is not very responsible. By the way, I don't have a degree in chemistry either. You don't have to have a chemistry degree to know what is in products sold on shelves. All you have to do is google a product's MSDS (material safety data sheet). It tells you everything you need to know.

Diana Nighthaven Omar Gosh Fam Please note that I never suggested that anyone use it, I said I would use it. Please don't take what I wrote and misinterpret it. I just stated the fact that bleach kills viruses, which indeed it does.

Simple solution: do not put raw chicken on cutting board! yeah, I use bkg soda n' peroxide for just about everything. Glad to see others are also abstaining from bleach!

it's going to something forever but none of us will be involved. those children you mentioned will be involved much longer then any of us but i promise you that it will NOT be like that forever.earth won't orbit this sun which also won't exist in short order on a scale from now until FOREVER. so no worries it'll all be over sooner then you might have even hoped ;] hang in there

mh I 'm guessing your tips were actually already known by everyone with a household ? you said " unexpected " , there is nothing that I noticed people might forget in fact , all you listed are just the routinethings and secondly far from even correct cleaning , to give you an example : uhu baking soda does a lot but you can not put it on everything and why using baking soda if by example pure vinegar just does the trick better or how about cutting a lemon in half ( iron is good example ) and a wooden chopboard should not be touched by any hard product like bleach or hydrogen peroxide , simply killing my lovely awesome precious wood ? uh no no and NEVER put raw meat on such board , instead and this is how to prevent : take a plastic one for the meat ! and neat when the dishes meet !
@osearthesp
@osearthesp 6 лет назад
exactly i just put this tip regarding cutting boards. just asking for immature trouble maker to get e coli poisoning ;] bleh
@vickyiliaens1000
@vickyiliaens1000 6 лет назад
yes as a matter of fact you get tons of harmfull bacteria into your system with wooden boards ! And ok you do heat the meat but that cupboard ?? I even noticed some people using that first to prep their meat into cuts and afterwords just put veggies on it , that is not only gross but also just asking for salmonella and e coli etc ! people should know ! wanna make a chicken salad ? just use another board for the chicken please , or else u do get sick ... guess it is the only way people learn from it ! I use vinegar and dishsoap both with HOT water on my cupboards and other wooden kitchenstuf but never a piece of dead animal on those ! and bleach ? no way on earth I am gonna ruin my wood !
