sorry about the sound issue in some of the scenes 😔 for the full list of tools and links: syj-links.webflow.io/tools-i-use what are your favorite tools this year? let me know and maybe they'll make it into next year's video!
it's legitimately insane to me the level of quality these videos have, I don't think I've seen comparable anywhere else. Really putting these other youtubers to shame!
For the sunrise shots I would recommend you to make a big cardboard to simulate the window and put the spotlight on the big sliding tripod, so everything will look more natural. The way you are currently using is looking like the sun and the window are moving at the same time. :) P.S. If you have a balcony, you can just put the spotlight there on the sliding tripod.

I absolutely love this kid. I wish I had grown up with a kid like this. We would have been best of friends. I say this, because I am probably around his dads age. More videos friend.
dam SYJ is reminiscent of the old era of tech youtubers but at the same still relatable to me. unlike all the old youtubers already having two supercars in their garage
For simulating the sunrise time lapse with an artificial light source, you need to linearize the rays of light from the point light source to simulate the even columns of light we get from the sun as a result of the great distance between it and our planet. You may notice that the light seems to fall off in intensity with an artificial light source. I’ve seen this solved using large parabolic reflectors by the DIY Perks RU-vid channel if you want to see what I mean. In order to achieve as realistic a sunrise effect as possible. Love your content!
Man, how did you start out this good? What did you do before? Other RU-vidrs start out with mediocre videos, but you've made bangers from the get-go. It's almost... eerie.
man i love your videos, i just want to know what you think about the a1 mini in my opinion it looks so minimal and has all the upgrade that you done on your ender 3 except that is faster
Hey @ScottYuJan, may I ask where you found that angled Micro-USB cable for your Shure mic? I have been looking for one that is angled in this way for ages and could never find one. Thanks.
If you are looking for an upgrade to the Ender 3 Pro, consider getting a conversion kit to turn it into a Voron Switchwire. Excellent project that elevates your printer.
As a project idea, it would be cool to revisit your Xbox Air Purifier, add Bluetooth, pair it with Pensil, and turn it on/off when the soldering iron heats up. Also, I would love to see your white version of "Rugged Multipart Pinecil/TS100/TS80 Case (V2)" 🤣🤣
Ho, dear! I'm hooked despite not belonging to your target demographic...until I saw your draw customization!!! The attention to detail is poetry to my ADHD brain! Not to mention the quality of your filming and editing. And the tools....t h e t o o l s !!!!!!!!! THE TOOLS!!!!! O M G, I want them all. Thank-you for letting your talent shine and for all your hard work.
Bro!!!! Loving your style, flow, the way you think (creative process) and break things down. Just super inspired and excited to follow for more. Many thanks and keep up the mind blowing work/ content!
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?? The Song at the End?? I know the songs used are listed in the credits, but which one is it and how can I listen to it? I really did my best…
Great round up as usual, thanks a million. Quick questions, what cable you're using for the MV7? I noticed the L-shaped and need one to repalce my damaged Shure cable :)
Daaaaaaaaaamn… wow. At 3 minutes and 30 sec in I already got enough quality entertainment for the whole day. Can’t believe there’s still 12 min to go. It’s like you froze the time
switches to a muffled wireless mic and says it sounds better. immediately after saying XLR output doesn't make a difference. Yeah, well, you are all about visual, so it makes sense you'd be incorrect about audio.
Useful suggestion, Don't use a vacuum cleaner. A vacuum can create static electricity that can damage computer components. A vacuum can also create enough suction to make your fans spin hard enough to damage them.
0:12 - "and the *speed* it takes me to create these projects and videos for my channel" What do you mean? You've made 5 videos in the past year (and that's including this one).
hey man, not sure if you check comments on older vids, but had a question -- did you paint that wave mic arm white yourself? It seems they don't sell a white version of that one, at least that's what they told me when I emailed elgato.
I sure enjoyed your page today. I like gadgets that I can use around the house for different things. I love your computer set up. Where did you get that cabinet on the left side of your main desk with the doors?
Is this headrest the one for the aeron chair made by atlas? I have been looking for a high quality headrest for my mirra 2, but have not been able to find one I like untill i spotted yours :)
I'm so impressed with all your filming ideas, and all your COOL! gadgets!!! You have become so professional!! I hope I can achieve just a tiny bit of your succes! very inspiring.
