K&F sent me the new large 33ltr camera bag its a big bag with a waterproof cover. I compare it to my Shimoda Camera Bag for size.. This is my a honest open thoughts of the bag i try to say it as it is and show you the truth if any.. Not been tested in the field as yet but ill give it a try out soon. The backpack bag take a lot of camera gear..

@@paulcomptonpdphotography Bag arrived today which was quick since someone else suggested it took a long time to deliver. What can I say. Bought this as my other Lowepro didn't take my Dslr and all lenses, and gear. Always had to work out what to leave behind. I have gone from one extreme to another but in a good way. This bag is so roomy and well padded. It felt a bit heavy when it arrived but once filled it sat really comfortable on my back with thick shoulder straps and rear padding. Well worth the money and glad you gave it a review as I would never have considered otherwise.

Hey Paul. Just an update. Camera bag arrived Friday by pigeon post. Lol 😆. Used it for 1st time this afternoon and I'm well pleased with it. 🍻

HI Paul, I have the Shimoda explorer V2 which did come with a rain cover & pockets in the waist strap. The rain cover has two elastic loops which you can feed the waist straps through & a Velcro loop to secure to the top handle. It is the first bag I have had that the rain cover will fit with a full size tripod attached. Brilliant bag, but like you say not cheap. I have had so many bags where the water runs off the outside of the rain cover & soaks into the bottom of the bag or it gets in the top as it runs off your coat.

I've been curious about there bags for quite some time now; but never seen a review on them before. There written reviews have been overall positive, but I wanted to see a video of them to get a better idea of how it works with equipment and a person. Hopefully that made sense, makes sense in my head🤷‍♂️. Thank you for input on this bag, it was quite helpful. 🙂🤘

Thanks for a lovely review, delivered with good humour and also thoroughness. I've used K&F products - mostly filters for some time and found the quality to be entirely acceptable - they even have a variable ND filter that actually works! I was wondering though, what the empty weight of the bag was, minus the little fanny pack thingy. Would anyone know? The specification shows it at 2.9kg which is not exactly lightweight, but I presume that includes the extra pack.

Looks like a good bag, but could you feed back to K&F they don’t do many smaller ones. I want a smaller bag, about 18 litres, but with the decent waist strap. The bag that Denise uses doesn’t have one and at my age I need the weight on my hips, not my shoulders. So this bag in a smaller version would be good, and popular too I think. 👍👍
