When I was homeless I knew it was all MY fault. I wasn't doing the work, I was depending on others to work harder to make my life better than I WAS. Got 2 jobs, left everybody alone & focused on myself. Lived in my car & saved 13k got my own place & new car & a better position to create the life I want. "It doesn't change until you do the work".

I used be homeless for 5-6 years. I know for real nobody will come to save you. I had to work hard to get out of my situation, and I did. Found a place to stay and now I no long even go to work. Working from home & has become my own boss. It’s possible sis! You can come over anything you goin thru. Want to also tell you it ain’t no real friendship between a man & a woman. He always waiting for the opportunity! Good luck!
And people want to say America's the land of the free. Maybe you can give tips on how to get out of that situation to others. Many probably end up on drugs because they're cold or abused

My Mom kicked me out at 19 and i was homeless many times but i never had the mindset like this my life.i honestly think its worse to see a female homeless then a man because of the hygiene and they bleed big shout out to all the strangers who help homeless people with food and water and clothes i appreciate you and for all the ppl who feed me when i was homeless i swear thank you so much from Paterson New Jersey to Arizona i lived in 9 different states
She's gotten to tht Numb point in life. I know that look anywhere. I pray God breathes new life of hope & excitement into her. Because once you're numb you start to give up. She needs to find a reason to want to live. Many Blessings to her!

Wow. Such a cute girl. She looks more like a teenager than a 34 year old. One thing I've noticed, lots of people in these situations have in common is molestation in their childhood. Hope she gets to turn her life around.

One thing I have learned from watching these interviews is that you have to be responsible for your kids. Most of the people who end up on the streets appear to have had irresponsible parents. It’s sad to watch.
I felt this young Lady's pain. I sincerely hope she gets her life together. If I ever run into her, I would give her everything in my pocket. Through all of that she still have morals and respect for herself.
Naw, from my experience with my own 3 grown kids and other families close to us with grown kids many just choose to rebel against their family. They also come from good homes and choose to get into drugs, trouble with the law, have shady associates, wrong crowds etc... Also understand people will only tell you what they want you to know or shows in their favor. It’s unfortunate this poor girl is so damaged and will struggle the rest of her life to be normal. Most of her experiences will limit the possibility of finding a man that will truly accept her and her past.. System and community failure! 🙏🏾

Thank u I've been there. My grandma kept asking me were they messing with me and I kept telling her no because I was scared that he was gonna get my family. I dropped out of school because I thought her new husband was gonna try me so I came clean to my gma she was the only one who believed me. She told my mom and she said I just wanted attention. When I got older I let her have it and told her everything and she told me she didn't feel sorry and I was old enough to fight back. And the crazy thing is they told me she wouldn't believe me. Her too exes I'm still dealing with it. Women go through so much not saying that the black man doesn't ❤️i dropped out of school and eventually got my GED and went to community college. I'm so proud of myself. I had to make my life better for my beautiful daughter. Sorry so long❤❤
that guy whom she stayed for three weeks was genuinely interested in her for more than just sex, she wasn't into him and that's fine; but why she's surprised he got rid of her... he wanted her to be his responsibility, long term, if not for eternity; she didn't want him; so she's not his responsibility any longer... now for those men that believe that's being unfair, or hateful, she's at the ATL bus station with two cats hurry over and take her home and keep your zippers up simps; oops I mean gentlemen.

Many victims or people with serious illness such as her do not feel it is negative to re-live in words what they have been through. It depends on the individual, everyone is not the same. She volunteered to do the interview and she was in a time of need. I got a sense that she appreciated the interview and exposure, and being connected to new people who will encourage her and give support. A number of people are pulling for her now after seeing this.
People who give up in life are people who lose in life, my first experience happens to be a failure but I never gave up cause I knew it was going to work out for me trying continuously, fortunately I'm smiling today by getting involved in investment.. I think it is foolish of her to waste her youthful years like this. The lack of a father or positive male leadership in her life is a real setback. She refuses wisdom from the interviewer so I lost some of my feelings of being sorry for her.

That's why you NEVER accept a "free" living situation from ANYONE, especially if they are the opposite gender. The thing to do is to accept the housing arrangement under the condition that you will IMMEDIATELY find work and pay the person for rent. And put it in writing and you both sign. Working can also help curb the addiction.

I work at a hospital and there are so many beautiful woman homeless, but the problem are mostly mental illness, and her choices are bad and not responsible or logical, and with her different personalities she can be very dangerous and destructive, if you truly listened to her, a lot of places in her life were ok, but mental illnesses can ruined those opportunities. You see a beautiful woman on the street, you better believe theres two sides to their story! The best place for her would be in a shelter with a lot of medical attention! Looks can be deceiving, but if i was that interviewer, i would at least buy her the bus ticket to her next destination. See her on the bus with a little food in her stomach. For her time and opening up to me. I don't care if she's lying or telling the truth, getting her on the bus and away from "crack row" would be the right thing!! What's up, "interviewer??"
No kids, she’s smart! You can tell that it was miserable staying with her supposedly biological father’s sister because right after she mentioned her, she was already nodding her head no 🥺. My heart goes out to her. A lot of people don't realize what trauma actually does to the brain. It literally changes the chemicals in your brain. You'll never be the same. You can heal and be great but you'll never actually be your former self. Also, a LOT of homeless people work, go to school, even work multiple jobs. The issue is our country, way more than us. There's something really wrong with a country that takes money out of your check, yet allows this to happen despite having the resources to change it, then puts the pressure on us to change it for them.
I’m sure it’s hard for her to talk about her pass situations. So sad. Those questions are making her re-live those moments. Maybe hold back on certain questions.
He's very intrusive. Really hitting a lot of sore spots with these questions and he doesn't have the empathy to sense that he's making someone uncomfortable.
