Incredible. This makes the farm I designed look like child's play in comparison. Will definitely checking out that world download when I get the chance.
its not about not blocking rays, all blocks that are supposed to blown up can be reached by a ray that wouldnt be obstructed by block that could cause fireball th explode. Armor stands are there so that no items get stuck there, while still exploding fireball.
As Scorpio said its limited by entity splitters/stack separators speed, which have 10gt reset due to pressure plates so with 2 of them we get fireball every 5gt on avarage which lets us supply 6(not 4) 30gt modules. With faster stack separators(which i have been told exist, but couldnt get much more info than that) it could be made even faster. All of that is assuming we can only use one player. EDIT: I managed to fit 4 entity splitters into one module, sooo double speed soontm
is it lag friendly? cause dealing with ghast balls need to be pretty accurate. Super cool design. never heard of anyone using ghast balls (pun intended) this way. you are amazing.
jjl21 thought about using the fireballs to make cobblestone farm, i was just helping him to finish it :D and ghast cobble farm is good for non duping players
Bro I want to make this. This is very efficient. But I don't know how to use litematica file. Plese make tutorial of it. I have heard it is very useful for redstone farms this. But I don't know single mechanics of redstone unfortunately. Btw excellent editting.
You can search for some tutorials on youtube :D, there are many helpful tutorials out there. Remember to watch the demo video on how to get ghasts in place linked in the description
Um.. one last question.. Sea pickle gives 0.4 height, 3 snow layers give 0.3 height when on top, is there a difference when ghast shoots the fireballs? jjl said he used 3 layers but it doesn't seem to work.. maybe it was 4 layers and it was just typo..? oh nevermind I think 0.4 is right I tested it
@@Daveir any height can be right. It has to be 3 snow layers(or sth else 0.25 high) only when the ghast is aligned vertically with a stair or slab or sth else 0.5 tall. Only thing that matters is player's position relative to ghast. So in this build we moved both the player and the ghast up by the same amount to get fireballs aligned in different way.
sort of, we did make a basalt generator module that should work with fireballs, similiar to how this works, however we never actually pasted that into this layout so i am not sure if it would work. I think that the module we made was a little bit too big to fit into this particular layout, with a little bit of work you could rearrange the waterstreams so that it would fit, or you could try to design a custom basalt generating module that would fit into this layout. So long story short, you could have a basalt version if you are willing to put some work into it. Alternatively, we did make a smaller and slower farms with just one cobble generating module, if you dont care about speed too much, you could just take that farm(which i think is included in the wdl) and paste basalt module into it. If you have any more questions regarding this, or want to get the basalt module, go join the discord in the description and ping me or scorpio there.
