Just found your channel. I take Angela Anderson & Ginger Cook tutorials as well. It’s good to learn several styles to help create our own unique style. I went to art school at UC, Irvine. I concentrated in Ceramics & printmaking. I never got around to painting. Drawing classes didn’t help, it was mainly draw what you see. Unfortunately I have a spatial disability. I like how you added the white to the burnt umber. I always thought my highlights were too bright. I use a Duncan ceramic glaze fan brush for trees. It’s a stiffer brush that works great for pine trees. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I originally paid $900 per credit for what I learned, but didn’t get the tips from my Professors knew.
