Wow every other clips I’ve seen of this game, people die multiple times in one campaign. First one I’ve seen of someone making it through without a single death. Good tactics. Attack as a group, try to get other players away from their group, retreat and heal when necessary.
@@_ZetaReticuli i noticed that you always choosing different path from your teammates so when the enemies are focused in what front of them you suddenly show up from flank or behind like lone wolf making Their life even harder lol and i salute you for that
A lot of "survival" players I see tend not to focus on objectives at all, just hit-and-run tactics and looking for constant duels, which is wholly useless to a team (can even lose games for a team unless it's a dueling server). In your case, you survived while still focusing on objectives, breaking walls, breaking banners, capturing pigs, holding zones.. A job well done my friend! I enjoyed watching! 👍
Glad to hear it. Do not be demoralised if you encounter a 200 +lvl opponent and he obliterates you. Attack from behind and flee if he sees you, until you learn the ropes!
Did they ever fix the range issue with spears, if they did that i wouldnt mind the fact thay they reduced its damage, i play in first person to be pin point accurate with my targeting, one thing i used to always hate was how instinctively i would always try to use my percieved range advantage by attacking earlier than approaching enemies like anyone intuitively would but id generally whiff even though the footage would show my spearhead jutting all the way straight though their wide open face. Worst case when i whiffed that strike id get instantly punished with an over head blow for huge damage and had to survive the rest of the encounter by landing 3 well placed strikes with perfect defence or else die in one good hit. Against multiple attackers is when this would get particularly annoying because the spear has no shield and so should be quite agile and rapid, but on such low health after that devistating of a hit stamina goes away fast using footwork abilities and especially so in the event of misstiming a deflect.
Did not play with the spear since the update. If this is constant, I believe you should raise a bug ticket and preferably upload a video with evidence.
well, I somewhat disagree. LMB with spears is just a stab, so you still technically can use LMB only and have ok-ish results. Just need to aim better than with the slashes.
In that case, take spear, but again parrying with it is a also somewhat different, basically you parry slash with a ... LMB stab :) counter intuitive but still same mechanics, just your outcome is different than counter slash :)
not to take anything away from you but theirs ten people on your team that are way past level 100 and only 3 people on other team with people past 100 huge skill gaps
Dane axe and messer are easier to use, messer with left click, dane can also do overheads decently. But spears are harder to use but also harder to defend against :) Try it, very satisfying :)
@@_ZetaReticuli I don't deny that you are a good player, but the game tends to accommodate players very poorly due to their experience. If you look at the beginning you can see that on your team you only have a couple of players below 100 points and on the opposite team only a couple have more than 100. So it's like playing against bots. I think that to demonstrate skill it really has to be a fair fight, that's all.
You clearly underestimate an average chiv2 player if you compare them to bots. Go online vs bots and then vs real people. The difference will be stark. Regardless of your disregard to the average chiv2 player, the teams were poorly balanced in this video.
@@_ZetaReticuli Ok, comparing them to bots was surely an exaggeration. But I hope you understand my point. If you achieve the same number of kills while on the opposing team, it would be a really important achievement
@@_ZetaReticuli i don't like it. It's too unrealistic. Hits like that on plate armor are useless.. Swords on plate or even mail are useless. It's like the battlefield game of the medieval era. Try kingdom come deliverance. Now that is a game and a half.
@@Tkharbik I agree that with Chivalry 2 experience one would be still unskilled in real medieval warfare. Chivalry 2 never aimed at simulation, but at delivering fun. Killing with fish, flaming chickens, travelling with a catapult almost like Munchausen, and so on. TLDR: this is not a milsim :)
