I got absolutely insane luck on the Ducklett. What happened is I had a Vaporeon outbreak so I do my 60 KOs, I make my sandwich and my Vaporeon appears before the 30 minutes, so I thought I saw Osirus's video and Ducklett has a beautiful shiny so I followed your advices and it showed up IN LESS THAN 30 SECONDS 😲😲😲

I tried the jangmo o one, took a while but i found if you stay by the wall on the right facing the spawn and walk back from the boulder you'll eventually get them to spawn to spawn consistently without them spawning in a T pose. Also mankey spawns there and I got a shiny Mankey

Osirus, I love you for what you do - but man do I wish this video came out last weekend! Shiny hunting Poliwag in a mass outbreak was like searching for a needle in a needlestack. Even thougj Bellsprout cannot be 100% isolated, you can dayskip until you get an outbreak just near Mossui Town thus making the hunt easier, I was able get 3 in one sandwich yesterday. Same can be said about Chinling, the location where the Tera Steel Hakamo-o is was the best location to have an outbreak

Hey Osirus , who was your first shiny on the teal mask ? Mine was a rockruff that I found on the mountain , the funny thing is that I foud him sorrounded by a herd of houndour , It was like he wanted to be saved from the infernal puppies 😂😂😂

I tried going for Geodude cause there was a mass outbreak, no sandwiches, just 2 picnic resets when the outbreak numbers were dropping and it spawned out of the wall 😃 my first Teal Mask DLC Pokémon is Geodude 😅👌🏻

Nuzleaf is doable for isolated - ish encounter. I did it in Mossfell Confluence. I found a shiny Seedot and 2 shiny Nuzleaf.

If you run along the water to the giant boulder, then take a right to the end of the map back down towards the apple hut and around towards the river again they will show up.

I'd suggest running a Dark type sandwich and not a grass type. Also, hunt at night since the orange shows up better. Seedot will show up with Nuzleaf as a family group.

@@justindalley6994Great tips, definitely on my hunting list. I'm somewhat colorblind, so some shiny hunts are more challenging/exciting than others 😂 so finding ways to increase contrast and isolate is what I'm all about doing.

White strip basculin is 100% possible as a mass outbreak. I got my male shiny basguligeon through a white strip outbreak. I was date skipping with a water encounter sandwich on looking for a feebas and got the basculin like that. Now I will say I hunted for a couple days for feebas and only got one white strip basculin outbreak, but then again I was in the feebas water cave when I was date skipping and not near the basculin spawn. So it could be INSANELY difficult to get a white strip basculin. But it is definitely possible to get one.

With the special meal i found a shiny Charmander after 10 minutes. I was so happy! I also found, with sparkle power a shiny: Vibrava, Hakmo-o, Lurantis and Farigiraf. Now i have 5 shinies, it's awesome 😀

I was able to do isolated spawns for corphish out front of the community center with just a shiny water sandwich. It also spawns woopers but more corphish, i was able to get 2 shiny from one sandwich.

I caught random shiny encounter Spinarak, in Pokemon Scarlet and put it into Pokemon Violet since I wanted a full team purple shines for Pokemon Violet, I caught random shiny encounter Gimmrsarl in the Timeless Woods in Pokemon Violet and I got random shiny Rookidee in Pokemon Violet This after I beat the DLC I got theses random shines encounter

White stripe basculin can outbreak! My wife has had it spawn twice. Both times I stayed up super late hunting for shinies. I've found 5 shiny white strip basculin. All during these outbreaks.

IDK if it’s just me but the poliwag method was not working. I legit can’t get any to spawn in the cave, any idea why this might me?

I found moving around in the back edge of the cave helped to generate more spawns from the opposite side, try testing positions until you get a constant flow. You don’t want to be right against the wall but far enough from it to set the picnic up, hope this helps and let me know if I can help anymore GL getting the shiny ✨

The 2 caves (Jangmo and Poliwag) dont really work. Tried for more than an hour, but no matter what i did, i never get more than 1 or 2 to spawn. Maybe its because the Mons also spawn on top of the cave (which you can't see but still in range)?

The caves don’t really work that way in Kitakami as far as I’ve seen. For Jangmo-o, it’s mostly due to Pokémon spawning just outside the cave. I found two Jangmo-o shinies just by walking around the rocky area with Sparkling and Encounter 3 Dragon boosts. Took less time than the Hakamo-o I found from an outbreak in this very cave. The caves also have limited “spawners”

I caught 3 rockruff in 2 hrs on a mass outbreak with just a lvl 2 rock encounter sandwich. I have yet to use herba mystica sandwiches

To the ones that dont like tomato cherry jaja i found a recipe just experimenting. 1 pickle 1 cuccumber 3 potato salad and 2 sweet herba with 2 curry powder. That gives us encounter lvl 3 of bug and sparkling lvl 3 too.

uuuuuuuuuh correct me if i'm wrong but isn't there a shiny goomy during the poliwag/poliwhirl segment? It might just be the lighting(cause thats way too common in this game) but i swear that looks like a shiny...and Osirus resets over it.

As long as you have it set up in settings as the video shows, when your in game double tap your home button and it will give you an extra zoom function, hope this helps :)

The 60 pokemon rule is only for outbreaks! If you're just doing isolated encounters, all you need to do is make the sandwich and reset using a town border, picnic, or autobattling

I always used the third recipe with tomato, onion, green pepper and hamburger before the dlc but for no reason, it doesn't work anymore for me (I don't have the encounter power). I have only 2 herba mysticas left (sour and sweet) and I think this two don't work together, even if the recipe says it works for any kind of herba. If anyone can confirm this

Anyone have a video suggestion for learning how outbreak/shiny hunting works? I swear to god I've farmed like 645 outbreaks, level 3 shiny food, killed 60+ and never seen a shiny

Both Osirus and AustinJohnPlays are my go-to for pokemon game help. There's a bunch of videos in their catalogs for how mass outbreak shiny hunting works. But basic premise is to knock out 60 pokemon, save your game, make a sparkling sandwich (doesn't have to be encounter power), then wait for 15ish of the pokemon to load in. If it doesn't show up, set up a picnic, then immediately leave the picnic and wait for 15ish to load in again. Rinse and repeat. If it still doesn't show up in 30 minutes, close the game, go back into your game and repeat the previous steps starting at making the sandwich. It usually doesn't take too many resets before the shiny shows up. You just wanna make sure to save before making the sandwich so you don't waste ingredients and also to save in front of the shiny once you do get it.

Maybe my count is way off but I feel like it happens 20-30 knock outs in edit: got it thanks to you, 3 shiny eevee's in the same outbreak

Do it like this: 1. First of all decide if you want to hunt with or without an outbreak, if you want to do it with go to point 11 if you want to it with just isolated encounter keep reading. 2. Search a pokemon you can isolate with a type in an area (for this look up phillybeatzu vid's on every single type, they are divided in 2 different types: the one for the DLC, which are still to come out for some types and the one in paldea which are already all out). 3. Once you found your pokemon to hunt you can consider getting a shiny charm IT'S OPTIONAL (if you plan on shiny hunting for a long time it's worth it, in the short term not), my suggestion is to get one without it first and then think about it. 4. So now get in the area you want and put down a save and make sure you have autosave turned off (this will be useful in case you don't get the shiny so you don't waste herba mystica). 5. Once you saved open up a picknick and make the sandwich of the type you need and make sure it has encounter power lvl 3 for the type you choose and the sparkling power lvl 3 of the type you choose. 6. Then close the picknick and identify the spawn speed, some pokemon are fast to spawn in some are not. 7. Depending on that start going around with your miraidon/koraidon but don't run and always do 360⁰ to look at the spawns behind you and use the zoom in trick (shown in this video) to look for shinies. 8. Note that some spots it's easier to picknick reset (open up and close your picknick to despawn all pokemon). 9. Now just keep going until you get the shiny 10. If you see one instantly get near it if it's in despawn range and SAVE THE GAME, so whatever happens you can just close your game and reopen it in case (btw it's useful to have a spore mon on your team to make it easier to catch) and that's it (save after you catch it). 11. If you want to make it with an outbreak you need to get in the zone where the pokemon you want spawns, make a lvl 2 sandiwch encounter power of one of type/s of the mon you want and day skip by 1 day (don't close the game to do this just hit the home button and also for each 1 day skip you need to check your map to look for the outbreak), also make sure to put your time far away from 12 PM since outbreaks reset at that time. (If you can't do it in 24h, save, close the game and put the hours only back to that the outbreak won't change. 12. Once you get it, save, k.o. 60 mons (a message should pop up top right, specifically the 2nd, the first is at 30 k.o.). (you can knockout other mons too it won't affect your k.o. strike) this will make your odds better. 13. Then save after you k.o. 60 and make a sandwich with sparkling power 3 and encounter power 3 (remember to save and no autosave). 14. Then just normally hunt until you get it.
