Hello, and welcome to my channel. This is a space for study enthusiasts and tea drinkers, and those who spend hours ambling around libraries and book shops. a quick summary for anyone who needs it :) 1. look through your course information and familiarize yourself with the classes you're taking 2. start doing some pre reading 3. do a piece of critical extra reading 4. set up your academic planner 5. set up your folders/ notebooks/ notion 6. set goal grades and how you can achieve it 7. put key dates into your calendar 8. look through last years notes 9. back up key documents 10. familiarize yourself with last year's content 11. get rid of any stationary that doesn't work 12. make a list of stationary to shop for 13. clean out your school bag 14. wipe down your school bag 15. pack your school bag and note key essentials 16. pack your pencil case 17. label your stuff e.g pencil case or jumper 18. make a school emergency kit 19. declutter 20. clean your bedroom thoroughly 21. have a digital declutter 22. make a note of easy lunch and dinner ideas 23. note down good study snacks 24. pack dry snacks for your school bag 25. plan out your ideal day 26. decide what extracurriculars you want to sign up for 27. make a list of things you want to achieve before the end of term 28. make playlists on spotify 29. plan out 5 daily outfits 30. read a long book 31. print some photos 32. make a list of the things that make you happy 33. make an aesthetic pinterest board for back to school 34. take a day off 35. spend time with friends and family I made this for myself but I thought it might be useful for others. Hey! I recently realised something and I just wanted to share it with you! Just a reminder to anyone who is watching! I think this video is very nice and helpful, but you have to remember that not everything in your life has to be in lists in order to be organised and productive and happy! I don't have that perfectly clean room, I have 1-2 drawers that are VERY messy. I sometimes forget to plan my outfits the day before. My night routine isn't written on a list. I don't spend hours on my bullet journal doodling in order to make it look aesthetic. If you enjoy doing that then awesome! I am just speaking for the people that feel bad for not having the perfectly organised and aesthetic bullet journal. It's is ok if you have a lazy day. It's important to understand what exactly went wrong and try to figure out a new way in order to fix the problem. I strongly advise you to be organised and make to do lists so your mind doesn't have to keep thinking about the tasks over and over, but its ok if that list is written messily on a crumpled piece of paper. I love these videos because they MOTIVATE me to be organised and give me some TIPS and IDEAS, but they ARE NOT REALITY. You have to FIND THE MIDDLE GROUND AND FIND THE METHODS OF ORGANISATION THAT WORK FOR YOU! Being organised can definitely help you not feel all over the place and help you stay focused to your goals, but there is more to life! Have a decently organised routine and move on! Have some fun!

Make sure you have something unusual in your cubbard?! My teacher always had strange concoctions of toy slime,one fondly remembered was Gooey when pulled out of it's container, in awe of the class,and then rolled into a ball and bounced,taking the clock of the wall!😆⛹️

Nearly a high school drop-out. Trying to get myself back into shape. My perfectionism nearly ruined me, and instead of doing so much that I stressed myself to the point of burnout, I ended up going the complete opposite direction and not doing anything because I feared failure. My friend just brought up a good point that if I don't do anything, I'll still fail. I may not completely believe in myself at this point in time, but I believe in all of y'all.

Alice McGowan To me it's not strange at all. I explained why she was called like that in my comment but well.. The person called the girl like that because of her style. it's fashion, you don't call people like that, because they're old, but because of their fashion. if your grandma is not dressing in vintage style, but normal, modern clothes or other, she is not vintage. People's age have nothing to do with this style if you call someone vintage that's mean they dressing in old, beautiful style and usually their lifes are just like that 😂

Same. Here in Germany we had one hot week and that was it. At Monday of the next week it started raining like crazy and the temperature only dropped further. The rain ironically started at the 21th of June. The day marked as the beginning of summer in most calendars.

I like the idea of deciding what to wear so you don't have to think of it then. I normally do that the night before but I see the benefit of writing it down cause it saves time.

Remember that this is a video to take inspiration from, not to hold as sacred. That goes with any video, really. This aesthetic is absolutely lovely and I think Ruby is really cool, but there are just some tips in this video that do not agree with my lifestyle and do not fit in with my priorities (i.e. fashion is a passion of mine and I cannot fathom having just five go to outfits- but I'm glad it works for her!). That is normal. Take inspiration, and be you :)

I've been out of university for a few years now but I still watched the whole video because of how relaxing and motivating it was! I really appreciate that, while all of your organisation is very satisfying to watch, you don't overly curate everything in your video to the point that it feels unattainable. You cleaning and reusing last year's schoolbag and pencil case is really cute, and it's good to get motivation that doesn't require spending tons of money. Good luck for this new schoolyear!

I'm not going back to school since I am still in school. My holidays are in November till December but I've been in lovkdown since May and school don't seems like it will be reopening any tume soon considering Malaysia's covid cases (20000+) these days. I still enjoy these videos very much tho! Thank you Ruby! Love you!

I've still got 4 weeks of summer holidays - that's two thirds of my summer break. Somehow I do want to start learning and studying new things again, but I also want to just not think about school for a bit, because I know I'll stress myself enough later

By Sep 1 I will have finally finished my masters and be going into school as a qualified teacher! It'll be the first time in almost 20 years that I haven't been in education as a student, and it feels so strange and almost overwhelming, though I'll have literally no studying to do. There's... no point to this comment other than explaining I'm feeling a bit strange. If you are in education now, don't waste it, you'll look back fondly on those times where you had so much freedom and the beautiful excitement of learning each day. And have fun!

We across the canal just have had 3 nice days after almost an entire Summerbreak with clouds and rain. So making the best of those 3 hope 4 maybe 5 days. Cause Tuesday is my first day back again...

I just want to point out to anyone worried that, while I adore these videos and watch them religiously as a 28 year old who wants desperately to be more organised in my life, I still got through 4 years of uni (science degree) doing the opposite of all this. Drinking, partying, leaving my work until the last minute, doing no extra reading and I still got a first, everyone is different and just because you don’t necessarily do all these things doesn’t mean you can’t do well! Just thought I’d share x
