I ONCE SUFFERED FROM CHRONIC ANXIETY AND I ĤAD TO HAVE A FEW BEERS BEFORE I WENT OUT ITS A TERRIBLE WAY TO LIVE THANKFULLY I GOT BETTER BUT I UNDERSTAND NOBODY WAKES UP IN THE MORNING AND SAYS IAM GOING TO BE A ALCOHOLIC
My drinking was on the knife's edge of getting out of control, so I quit drinking COLD TURKEY in January of 2021. At one point, I was up to almost a gallon of wine per day. Earlier, this month, I made a rare exception when I tasted Soju for the 1st time in July 2024, but it was only a taste. For the most part, I'm now a teetotaler. Cheers! 🍷
Even though I don't know what addiction--and then quitting addiction--is all about, I nevertheless applaud you for deciding to live a more honorable life by taking care of your body. You also have just assured yourself of living longer. I hope you keep going successfully along on this New Journey and experience adventures that had before not been open to you.
Freddie prinze was a latino-american comic and TV star. He was really young when he got famous and he couldn't handle the fame at a young age and he got on drugs real bad then he shot himself.
What a train wreck of a production! Names pronounced wrong, Dustin Hoffman is shown many times as Lenny Bruce and they can’t pronounce names correctly, as in Peter Lorre. It’s LOR-ee, not LOR!
The usual AI narration bullshit that has come to dominate these kinds of vids. Bit turnoff.Plus the fake photos and who knows what percentage of the information is actually accurate? I will downvote and block the channel.
@Vintage TV; if you’re going to dabble in Pop Culture, you are going to have to learn to pronounce the names. And get the pictures right, ffs (Freddie Prinze, and his son, Freddie Prinze Jr. are Not the same person). Unless you want us all to think you are a computer-voiced A.I. I’ll give you ONE, but yr going to have to figure out the other GLARING mispronunciations yourself: Peter Lorre is pronounced “LOR-ree” Ugh; you’re welcome. 👎
Veronica Lake died at a hospital. Why would it take days to claim her body when she was registered in the hospital under her name? Her son claimed the body.
It would be harder for the parties posting this to find gainful employment. All these celebrities are passed. But some have family .I am one. I don’t post about their personal demons for money. Maggots
I use too run into Walter Matthau, Mickey Rooney, Dick Van Patten, Paul Mooney, LA Dodgers Willie Davis, all the time at Hollywood Park racetrack back in the 80's and 90's. May all my fellow horse players R.I.P. Much Love.
I had no idea Todd Bridges was in the Waltons or little house on the prairie, and I grew up in that era. Is this true because they fucked up a ton of other shit on here
Talented, charming, beautiful ,athletic , intelligent people who have many admirers .They have enriched many peoples lives with their performances but are not role models except as performers .Taken as group they are very unstable personalities.
It seems like so many people who are well known entertainers also have substance abuse problems. It’s almost like they need to numb themselves with drugs or alcohol to deal with the demands of their celebrity. I guess I should be thankful that I never had any musical talent or acting ability and as a result I lead a quiet and anonymous life and that’s fine by me!
The bearded picture you're showing of Lenny Bruce is Dustin Hoffman playing the life of Lenny Bruce. Lenny. Bruce died sitting on the toilet probably had a death just like Elvis taking so many prescription and non-prescription drugs that he was so constipated. His excrement had turned into styrofoam within his intestines. That's why you find these people sitting on the toilet when they die. Unless of course you're in game of thrones and they're just going to take the money shot while you sit on the toilet and die
I forget to add another comment that's really more important than the one that precedes this one, I think. As many of us have probably reflected on, with respect to the lives of famous people in movies and television, as examples, there is something profound to be said about how fame and the corresponding wealth that often comes with it, along with usually great looks (and a well-toned body--which ain't me in any of dem categories!), collectively seem, for many actors, guarantees for happiness, joy and contentment. Or do they? Ah! Let's also add into this mix a very large home in Beverly Hills or Brentwood or Bel Air or Palos Verdes, or in Newport Beach, or further south into Palm Springs (often as second homes!); fancy residences they all are, and that glorify, that symbolize, their fame and fortune. However, all of the riches gathered about them ultimately don't seem to elevate many of these famous people out of the self-destroying abysses, where their emotional and physical habits, addictions and ultimate miseries reign. And I am suspecting that there's one Common Denominator missing from the lives of many of these "famous" people, with their serious addictions, and who also often died alone--or died lonely, if you will, and/or who "killed themselves" (and I would think mostly without clear intentions to do so), resulting mostly from inviting into their Vulnerable Lives these terrible, destructive habits; and that seemingly needed Touchstone that could have provided (and still can) some solace and clearer direction, would simply be a welcoming-in of a Spiritual focus--or force, that could serve as a profound and sensible Guiding Hand. However, it is not for me to proselytize here, or to pass judgement, but it just seems like embracing a Spiritual Life could become a uniting force that bridges "the Gap" between unhappiness and confusion, and Common Sensibilities, with, of course, a sustaining happiness. That having a strong Faith can often provide an individual with clearer thinking, enabling them to seize upon opportunities made (now) through employing positive choices, while continuing to make positive impacts on so many more of life's opportunities; all while gaining a proper perspective on how to value what is REALLY important in our own lives. And, indeed, this is up to each person to decide for themselves. [Caps evident within this missive are deliberaste.]
Whoops! I accidentally hit the "Reply" button before I could get the last word in the above comments spelled correctly. The last word in my diatribe should be spelled "deliberate." ~ (Damn computer! I hate this stupid machine, because sometimes--I mean, more often than not--it wants to actually take over my mind and disregard what I want it to do! One of these times this Chromebook is going to go down and meet my station wagon, where it will understand what it feels like, when wedged against the backside of a rear tire, the effects of "where the tire hits the road." And, yes, I've been thinking about this on a number of occasions. Just the thought of it gives me great joy, as retribution against a computer can make for a delightful day! Well, maybe I needed Spiritual Atonement myself!) ~drs (07/29/24)
The creators of these celebrity tell alls contributions deserve high praise indeed. But lets be fair. Your mother never knew Which bf was your father, dying shortly after Your birth from a overdose of prescription pain meds. That childhood injury falling off a circus elephant led to so much tragedy. Still, her photo at the town library she ran Is reflected in several of your classmates bearing a striking resemblance.
Peter Lorre's last name rhymes with "dory," not as it's pronounced here. ... So Clark Gable and Walter Matthau had gambling habits. Why is this a big deal? They had enough money to indulge this "vice; they harmed no one-certainly not themselves. Maybe that's vice, but gambling hardly seems as deleterious as some of the other behavior elsewhere in this video.
The images you're showing of Freddie Prince is not Freddie Prince. That's his son. His son looks nothing like his father. His father, Freddie Prince look like a Puerto Rican guy, a typical generic Puerto Rican guy
God damn! America enthrones their movie stars and if they stopped accepting and tried to get their stars to deal with their problems, the stars might have lived a longer, saner lives!!!
