I own a 2007 350z base manual just like yours! You are absolutely right about the 350z being more "raw." It's even more raw with a base model without traction control and other luxury additives. One thing that I didn't like that Nissan did to the 370z was take out the oil pressure gauge for a oil temp gauge. I feel as they did this on purpose knowing the gallery gasket issue that is on the hrs and pre-2014 370z. Overall, 350z all day. I will say, you should def swap the open diff out for a vlsd out from a higher trim as its a direct bolt in! Nice z man!
I got a 350 z 2007 does feel like a race car everytime I drive it I have to control myself. Mine is stock engine is powerful automatic I race my friend charger he got Diablo tune and that pedal commander said he making close to 400hp. Take off Z faster little trick I learned keep foot on brake and gas at same time at take giving a little gas take off foot of brake takes off like a rocket. I beat him at take off by a couple feet but he caught me in the end so a HR is nothing to sleep on
@@beejhay1234 these wheels came on the car when I bought it but they’re “drag DR-49” and tires were just random cheap tires. (New setup is on I just need to post it)
I bought my 370z because I knew that car since it was 3years old. It turned out the biggest value for me was (beside the obvious things) that I can put a bicycle and 2 duffle bags into the trunk. I'm not gonna sell it ever. :)
@Beebos I think I had my camera’s exposure and brightness changed a bit but nothing to major. Also I’ll be honest and say I’m not sure if my z has been repainted or not but I will say the paint is in good condition and looks great. It is the k51 carbon silver color.
Just got a 2014 touring roaster put chip to give me little more horse power she had the sport package with the paddle shifter etc she was garage kept it’s whole life it seeems and well cared and was under 80,000 when I got her .
100% agree with you on part availability. I had an issue with my power steering pump and an even bigger issues sourcing the part. When I did find that part, it was hella $$$$ so we had to go with a newer pump and modifying it to make all the connections fit. Finding a HR in a junkyard is rare too so that's another downside of owning these cars. So an additional tip would be to source spare parts where ever you can, buy it,. and store it for later. As time goes on, less engine parts will be out there to be purchased (if found, they're just gonna be jacked up in price). Other than that, the rawness of these cars (when it comes to driver/car connection) is definitely an experience. I've owned/own a few of other commonly desired cars (92 SW20, 03 IS300, 16 435i, 97 Integra) and none of those beat the Z in driver experience (speaking from all the cars in their stock state). Actual racecar vibes. An idea for more videos (that I would love to see) would be HR/VHR part compatibility. As an owner of 2008 350Z, I love seeing information videos of Z33 HR's. If I'm being honest, I'm too lazy to do the research myself. LOL. Keep up the good work on the videos tho. Love the simplicity of the them. Just a HR owner recording HR shit.
Yeah I didn’t think about the part availability before I got my HR and I was a little stressed thinking about the future of my Z. But yeah sorry you actually had to go through the struggle! We just always gotta be prepared to spend time and money when it comes to replacing parts on our HR’s. I hope people read your comment to read a real experience and to read the tips you provided. Also really cool to read how you feel about the Z especially compared to the other cars you’ve experienced. I’ve always been into the Z and after owning mine, I absolutely love it. The only other car I can really say I’ve driven and experienced is a 2016 MX5, and I will admit it was very fun and go kart like, but the driving experience in the Z is something I can’t seem to get enough of. Thanks for your comment man! Also for all the video ideas! Definitely going to keep the informational videos going! I’m the opposite and tend to WANT to do the research to figure it out lol I need to know all the facts lmao but I appreciate you!
@@dan.z33 ahhh we chillin, bruh. sometimes passion will come with a little pain. as long as im learning something, then im chillin. MX5s are hella dope. really agile and so much driving character. if it weren't for the practicality, then i wouldn't mind owning one! but yeah. something (more like "everything) about Z33's definitely captivate me. Nissan did it right with the Z heritage right. but yeah dude. by the looks of your reply, you definitely care about your viewers. we, viewers, appreciate stuff like this. keep up the good work, man. ill be lurkin on your progress ahha. also, im a local to your area. Shamelessly plugging my girl's boba spot but come through! It's in the Ontario/Chino area. It's called Kozan Tea House. If not, it's cool haha.
@@Foursterrr Yeah man I’ve learned so much about this Z (just cars in general) ever since I got it! I’ve felt like more of a mechanic since lol but it’s been very fun. And yeah the MX5 was actually great and I ended up loving it a lot more than I expected to. The handling and just the amount of fun I had in that car was insane but again, something about the Z always kept me wanting one which is why I have mine now haha. I always tell myself I’ll get another 2016 MX5 one day! Z33 just hits different. And thanks man! I forsure care about my Z fam !! Haha and damn thats sick your girl got a boba spot! Definitely wanting to check it out bro! I’m not too far 🤝
