i saw how many views you had and thought it was gonna be another bad video, but i was mistaken! youre video is high quality and you explain everything well!
Haha have thought about doing this to my Z for years now just for the cool factor of taking my wheel with me in places lol but never committed...going to live vicariously through you Jesse 😅😂
Its cool but at the end of the day there is nothing wrong with the stock steering wheel. 🙂 If you ever come to AZ you are more than welcome to test it out. 👍
Hello from Arizona! Thank you so much for watching I really appreciate it! Cant go wrong with a Z! You will love it when you get one! Let me know if you need any tutorials in the mean time I am happy to make them!
I’m so so sorry I’m not super familiar with cars but what is the black thing on your back window? My boyfriend has been wanting one for his 350z but I can’t figure out what they are called
Sold the car awhile back but it was still in excellent shape when I sold it. I’m a cleaner dude then most though. The average vape pen holding, stretched eared grease monkey would destroy one after a month or two.
To be honest I’ve never really like the 350z steering wheel like the way it looks but yeah everything else good enough for me and it’s basically kinda my dream car
Be careful with those wheels. Im not trying to say they are cheap, but there are ALOT of videos of people on YT and forums breaking those wheels ( especially if pressure is put on the spokes) and they sheer right off. Great video!
I have seen them. There is no proof in the videos that I have seen whether or not they are knock offs. If somebody wants to send me a legit sparco i am guessing I could do the same to it. They are not hub pullers at the end of the day. I appreciate the warning man! 🙂👍🏼
I love the dun dun dun dun duuun song 😄 im also getting an nrg quick release and I want to get those avid 06 rims cause they look so nice for 600 bucks
Yeah that song is Ric Flairs entrance theme if you ever watched wrestling back in the day. 🙃 I do not know how you beat Avid1 wheels. I am going to be buying another set for my other car in the near future. Cannot go wrong. 👍
How long would you say this took you? . Great video.. I have everything sitting here except a t30 and a resistor.. mine is a 98 civic so a tad different but pretty close.. 👍
Hey Lauren! So far so good. I believe NRG treats it with something to make it water resistant and slightly dirt resistant. It still looks like new still but its only been a month or so. If your concerned about grit and grime maybe go with a leather version that is easier to clean. I will pry buy the same wheel for my other car at some point and go leather on that one. Hope this helps you! 😊
Jesse Scheel thank you !! But I wasn’t sure on leather as I live in fl and it gets super hot!! I’ll look into this one !! Thanks again and keep up the great work
@@laurenbrown6056 Your welcome! Go with the suede then I am pretty sure you will be happy with it! Let me know if you have any trouble with the install. Make sure you have all factory and NRG wiring through the hub before pushing it down on the column. Hard to get it off without a pulley puller after that.🙂👍
I have a 03 350z and I was thinking about going with the NRG short hub & the Gen 3.0 quick release + NRG RST-006S-Y : 350mm. But I see you have the 2.5 Gen quick release. You would recommend the one better than the Gen 3.0?
@@therealjessescheel ain’t that the truth 😢 crazy how Cali is open the worst state if you’re into cars yet it has one of the most vibrant car communities lol
I occasionally drift my car so do not have a use for it. Do not want them going off if I mess up in a corner. But to your point airbags go bye bye with aftermarket steering wheels.
Yes it does dumbass. Only way to get it off without pushing it would be to yank on the quick release. Send a pic of your car. I’d love to see the shit box.
