I have fished those waters many times . There are three underwater ridges perpendicular to South Point that are prime hunting grounds.

you should advocate for people to not hunt nassau groupers in the bahamas. they are critically endangered. fish spawn aggregates have collapsed in like 92% of their original range all over the carribean and gulf of mexico. the fish used to prevalent everywhere. now the aggregates in the bahamas are some of the last few. its like finding the last hot spots for cheetahs, and saying "look there are plenty of cheetahs here lets hunt them." its possible to find hotspots, of critically endangered species. the yused to be found like they are in the bahamas ALL OVER THE CARRIBEAN AND FLORIDA. now you dont see them anywhere except a few islands in the bahamas.
