Absolutely love this! Would love the back porch area turned into a sunroom though. I love the kitchen seperated from living room and not first thing ya see when walking into your front door! Sometimes ya may have dirty dishes when company arrives,lol! I agree,I don't like the microwave that high up,seems dangerous but could easily be redesigned I suppose. I would only add one thing, a small office room near the laundry side someway or divide the back porch area into a small sunroom & am inclosed office area. But would Absolutely love this! I desperately need a new home. ❤

I like this quite a bit. I might turn the toilet in the half bath to the wall backed up to the laundry room and tuck the hot water heater in that space (with a door opening to the laundry), then make the window in the laundry higher and put the washer/dryer against the outside wall with storage over the dryer. This is 1296 based on footprint but subtracting the unheated/cooled space outside I would guess it's about 1000. This is a lot of house for that size.

You brought us in through the back door into a nice foyer and past the laundry room. I'd rather invite guests through a front door into the living area, but that hasn't been provided for here. The rest of the house is set up well, though accessing those cabinets in the corner next to the sink could be awkward.

sinembargo, a mi en lo personal, me gusta la entrada principal, solo para ocaciones importantes o especiales. y la otra entrada para recibir la visita cotidiana, y ese tiempo de relax q nos damos. le plantaria muchas flores para hacerlo mas acogedor. lo demas me encanta, menos el microwave, en posicion alta.

Very nice design, four square is an efficient plan. Plenty of counter space in the kitchen, and like the fact you have stools and a dining area with a table too.

I really hate when the microwave is so high up over the oven or stove top. I know many a short woman, including my sister-in-law, who was burned when hot water or melted butter poured on their face or chest. Microwaves should also be positioned lower or on a counter. Otherwise, I like the design!

Better yet…get rid of the microwave altogether! Install a countertop or built in convection oven. They are superior over microwaves and healthier /faster for you anyway!

I like it, but I don’t think that having the laundry near the front door is a good idea.

Yeah, you don’t want to be dragging your dirty laundry to the front of the house, it should be towards the back where the bedrooms are.

@@dmunoz1943 Most of these houses have a back door in the vicinity of the laundry room. I have never hung laundry but my mom sure used to.

Way too many double\exit doors.The front or back door by the laundry, the double door in both dining an living area then in the bedroom. Not necessary.
