Greetings All ! In the video I make an EPIC quilt featuring 365 tiny house blocks. The block FPP pattern comes from the etsy page of Jean Neke found here : www.etsy.com/a...
I don’t know how to say this in “rad” speak, but you are absolutely insane! I am an OLD lady Pushing 82, and I love your quilts and your commentaries - keep going and have lots of fun!
This made me cry. I'm so glad you are here doing what you're doing. This quilt is gorgeous and awe-inspiring. You make the difficult choice over and over because it's the right one, you are brilliant, you stick to it awesomely and you make beauty!! ❤❤❤💚💜💛🧡💙
It’s quite difficult as you have to be sponsored and they limit the number who can enter each year. You have to provide evidence you have the expertise to make these quilts.
What a wonderful lesson in creativity with scraps. This stunning piece of art work presented in this manner, should be required watching in all schools. Not just for the creativity but for the perseverance, humor, and looking at ways for you to get things done working around bumps in the road. What a gift to the world you are.
Fantabulous! When you said you were going to add random blocks as filler I knew there would be space and aliens - you did not disappoint! Love your creativity and look forward to each new video. Thank you for sharing, and I would be remiss if I didn't also compliment you on your video editing skills--you're epic!
Holy COW!!!! This quilt is OFF THE HOOK! IT’S WHACK! IT’S CRAY! Ok I dunno what you kids are saying these days, but it IS. EPIC. SEW. SEW. COOL. I LOVE IT!!!!! ❤❤❤
Yes, your quilt is magnificent but as a teacher I admire your drive, humour, work ethic and determination. You are your own coach. People can learn a lot from your confidence and creativity.
That is an 8 month epic labour of love 💗💗💗 Every week I am in awe of the quilt you have made 🎉🎉🎉 Thank you for letting us into your craft room every week 😘
This quilt is INCREDIBLE!!! I would never bring myself to part with something like this, after the huge amount of effort it took to make it. I’m extremely impressed!
Dave...You are amazing!! Amazingly crazy, a creative genius, and above all seriously patient...but amazing all the same! 😍🤣🤣 I am addicted to your videos...they are so much fun! Bless you!🙏 Look forward to your next "epic" adventure!
Wow! That is just amazing. Your skill and dedication to completing such a large project is awe inspiring. You should be extremely proud of yourself for this one.
You are such an amazing ,talented young man. I am always so impressed at what you do with a piece of fabric. Thank you so much for sharing your talents and beautiful quilts with us.
What a happy community you have created. By adding the extra fun fabrics, it has a bit of a "cloudy with a chance of meatballs" vibe. LOVELOVELOVE it! I check out your videos for pure enjoyment and walk away every time with a new "aha" moment. Doing the PP in sections was a new tip for me. Thanks for sharing.
Home is where the heart is and you certainly put your heart into this piece of art! 💖 Wonderfully whimsical! Your perseverance is inspiring. Love it & could look at it all day! Blessings
I am amazed (and appalled) by the amount of effort and creativity you put into this. It would have been in a UFO bag way back in the project for me. Your PERSEVERANCE is incredible. I salute you. 🫡 Sir!
Just stumbled across this video and I'm awestruck!! I love houses, I love quilts and I LOVE THIS QUILT!! I have never quilted. I sew a little bit but what I loved for years was cross stitch. I had an idea to cross stitch a bunch of quilt squares and have them made into a quilt but I never did. I haven't stitched for several years...maybe this will motivate me. I love your ''procrastination plan'' too! I'm pretty good at procrastination so maybe there's hope for me. Thank you so much for making this, filming it and putting it up for us to enjoy.
Another out of the ballpark creation. Thank you for sharing your insights and process. So inspirational. Here’s today’s morsel: The secret to persevering with a large, intricate and daunting project is procrastination! Work on it while you’re procrastinating from other things you don’t want to do. I been so busy that I hadn't had the chance to watch till now. And now all I have to say is WOW! You knocked this out of the park! I absolutely love it ❤ the video was great since I love timelapse quilting ❤ I would hope you would enter this into a show and show the world how amazing you are!
What an incredible job! I really enjoyed this video. I loved that you worked on this quilt at your leisure. This turned out beautiful! Thanks for sharing your work.
OMG! Hats off to you. What an amazing accomplishment and an incredible piece of artwork. Loved the filming and enjoyed this so much. Talk about inspiration! Thank you and I can't wait to see what else you've created.
I So admire your determination and creativity! I would have gone Bald, pulling my hair out, with such small pieces! Maybe 6 inches, I could handle. Your quilt is a masterpiece!
Within a minute of listening, I was smiling about YOU, you are fun. Then I heard you say, " Technically, everything is a scrap." SOLD! Since that's how I think too!😁I'm hooked😊
OMG in all caps is not enough to express the OH MY GOD!!! reaction to this quilt! This is incredible! And I was going to ask how you stay motivated to finish projects so thanks for telling us your secret… procrastination! 🤣🤣🤣 Another winner! (and I think the extra pieces are hanging out with all the socks your dryer ate…)
This is glorious!! I was welling up with emotion that you stuck with it and procrastinated in all the right ways! I loved the music and how it drove the point home that this was an epic journey. Love it all!!!
Wow! This is an incredible piece of work! I am a beginner quilter and cannot afford classes. I do a lot of EPP as I am not so confident on machine work and my sewing machine is about 28 years old. I learn by reading books, magazines, watching RU-vid and going to my local quilt guild. Thank you for sharing your progress.
Epic is an understatement! Your dedication and perseverance shine through. Your houses are extremely creative and create a remarkable village. Another winner!!!
You always amaze me with your quilts. This one is a real neighborhood. And they live, watched the night sky, played games and music, ate fruit and hamburgers, took a plane for traveling to far away places and it was a happy place to live on. I really love your piece soooooooooo much. Consider it for an exhibition. Simply wonderful. ❤
It’s ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! What a PHENOMENAL JOB as well as the labor of love and sheer tenacity!! The way you kept it organized was EPIC as well!!!! Thank you for sharing!!❤🏠
It is so epic! I love it! I have also never been good at consistency so even though I have seen quilts like this in the past I thought I would not finish it so never started it. It didn’t occur to me I could change how many I did in a day…you are very clever ❤
