Returned from the range after going through 200rds with my 365X with new WC grip module. I performed several drills and shot much better with the new grip module. Thank you Mr. wilson
I have the 365xl with Wilson Combat grip module plus weights, which is a huge improvement from stock, and I put the Empire Katana flared magwell on the grip module as well. I’ve been carrying a 365 for three years during the summer and a P229 Legion during the winter. Best Regards
I just got a WC XL grip module for my 365, and decided to go with the weights on this one (I also have an X with the WC XL module without the weights.) I honescsnt feel any difference in weight or balance between the two …
Thank you for this video that really talks about what the grip is like. Observant and thoughtfull just like all of your content. Im getting one for my 365 in 380. Trying to get the same optic too. Thanks for the info on DOT size too. Im trying to build a very accessible small gun for a lot of different people so your experience will be useful to me.
It’s been a while but I wanted to let someone else know for consideration. Primary Arms is making a 507k with their Chevron and the extra large circle to help with finding the dot.
I carried this pistol for 8 months edc love it. Addiding this lower brought new life into the gun. Slimmer for sure and has a more aggressive purchase. I agree worth it
Love Boresight, but for the price, WC gets you 90% there for 1/3 the price (and are more rigid as you point out). The MACRO has no flex and I’m seriously thinking of cutting down one to hold the 12rd mag (14 with magguts)-will have to epoxy/JB Weld the backstrap on it. But for now I carry a macro slide in a WC as CCW and have another macro as HD.
I run a similar setup. As you said the Wilson grip gives me a little more meat on the grip, it’s a little more of a round shape. Just enough. Better beaver tail to get up into as well.
Astigmatism is a bitch when it comes to using optics. I tested a bunch of different ones including the 407K and 507K, in green and red dot, and surprisingly the red 32 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot was the least distorted for me. Also great review!
Great grips! The stock grips have a lot to be desired and it gross with all the dead skin lol - I've been running them since they came out. Have you shot with a 507k that Primary Arms and Holosun collaborated on with the Vulcan reticle? I really like that reticle, it can be a crutch/handicap if you train with it but for EDC its fairly genius.
Had for about 6 months going strong now. Funnily enough i lightly sanded down the backstrap grip just a tiny bit to make it a little less aggressive because itd get caught on my shirt while concealed and rip a ton of pinholes in my shirt.
With my hand size the regular 365 is not big enough. I just purchased the this module for the wife's gun, feels excellent compared to the factory grip, now waiting for range confirmation. Trying to test out if this setup or a Glock 26 for my summertime carry will be the way to go.
Honestly this is the reason I sold my XL. I hated the beavertail because it made the gun hard to get out of the holster, and the grip was too skinny and flexible, I couldn't get a good grip on it. If this grip module existed a couple years ago, I might still have my XL.
I like mine. I wish they had eliminated the undercut and just run the same texture straight up the front of the grip. I think they kept the undercut just so it would work with all holsters...
I've been running the Wilson Combat module since shortly after it came out. The increased grip circumference helps me pull the trigger more consistently, the wider magwell helps with loading, and the texture is much improved. I also opted for the tungsten inserts. Overall, the P365XL still doesn't shoot "jUsT As gOoD" as a full size pistol (at least not for me) but it's close.
I have really enjoyed your video instruction. I have the Razorback grip from Boresight Solutions in Florida for my Sig P365XL and found that it works well for me with the Hollosun 407k. BTW Can you recommend either a red/green dot or laser or laser saddle for a12 gauge shock wave?
I enjoy my Wilson Combat module. It saved my Sig from being sold and propelled it to the top of my carry line up. Prior to this upgrade, a stock G48MOS with a 507 was primary. I’ve been dueling the two against each other for over a year. I like the G48’s trigger better and shoot it a smidge better. The Sig is nicer to carry, allowing me to deep squat without hotspots with my current carry setup (Phlster Pro w/ DCC clips). The Wilson Combat module made the Sig a viable carry option for me. Your mileage may vary.
Which grip is that one cuz I have a p365 x and I need a grip for it but the one I saw online was has a cut in the bottom not like the one in the video. The one I saw online seems to be for the more compact model. If someone could help that would be great
I've got vids on their 320 module which was game changing when I used to own such things before recession and c1984. 365xl is almost right but too thin high up in beavertail for me & 365s I feel like on draw it's canted not always centered in web of hand. If I found an xl used w module if it filled my hand better I'd consider it though lots of options nowadays
nice to hear considering that is my new setup on my 43xmos. went with the 407 green + chwps adapter plate. Also swapped out the front and rear irons with Night Fision optic ready stealth sights and the cowitness height is perfect, lines up level with the built in rear notch on the holosun.
so why do you need a spring replacement every once in awhile? Im about to buy a 365x and also buy this same grip module. Is this still the grip module that you use?
The factory 365 is too small in terms of circumference for my big hands. The WC is aalllllmost enough to make it shootable for me, definitely better than the others I've tried.
Stock module feels like shit, like a toy. Also the plastic scratches and scuffs if you even look at it. First day I had mine no joke I think I scratched it with a microfiber cleaning cloth.
@@demonstratedconceptsllc4918 gotcha was the extra barrel length uncomfortable and neglible that you just wanted better overall concealment just wondering
@@demonstratedconceptsllc4918 nope. Just night sights. I think they introduced that option with p365xl first and then later did the p365x right? I'm still behind on my knowledge of the 365 series
@@TheCalebOsborne All P365 slides, grip modules, and FCUs are compatible with one another. Although since you already have a slide you may want to consider having a machine shop cut it for the optic of your choice
