I as well scrape and go scrape and go scrape and go so pleased that you persisted. Beautiful piece. A silhouette would be great on this. I really do like it. Keep up keepin it real. Blessings and Peace. Stay Safe Stay Happy Stay Healthy
Bring in another paint not the same 4! It needs a contrast! But thank you for your trail and error! Thanks for continuing to find the beauty of this paint. I knew you would find the beauty!
I was googling the Reeves sets and found some adresses in Australia, Great Britain and Ireland so it will probably be available elsewhere soon. Though I live in Finland I often order my stuff from Germany. Hope you all have a Good New Year 2021!
When the last swipes you did are on the right as you look at the painting, I see a face in the center, the lighter color is the face, chin, nose, forehead and hair. You could do something with that! I enjoyed watching your process and your refusal to give up!! Thanks for posting...Take care!!
Michelle, I've used these too, looks nice if your in a rush. Would you tell me please what brand of white do you use for base coats and buy in bulk in NZ?
Hi Michelle, I have used the Reeves paints in those kits - I didn't like their color combos lol, so I used the gold and silver with other paints instead. The silver, I found, caused some other paint types to split if I included it in a ring pour, but the gold could be useful for accents sometimes. I think it was more the luck of the draw, the temp of the day and things like that, rather than anything scientific :) I find these paints work quite well in a Dutch Pour provided you only use one metallic with a mix of other paints - it was the only way I could use them :) Have a wonderful New Year and don't stop being you. Hugs from Lisa up North.
Thank you Doreen yes additional colours would be great although this video was about trying to create a good looking painting from the paints in the kit I bought.
Oh dear, Michelle, the struggle was real wasn't it! I did try to help by yelling "SILVER FIRST" but it must of wanted to become this, and I actually like what you achieved in the end. Especially those last lines you put on! I was hoping you would continue with that on the whole painting as it was really cool! Are these paints sparkly Michelle? Have a wonderful New Years Eve and a fantastic 2021! I definitely want everything you said for next year! Love and hugs my friend. See you next year. 😃❤🥰🤗🙋♀️
Hubby brought me some of these Reeves premixed paints from Oz last February. I’ve tried them a couple of ways- and I haven’t had much luck with them either. I did try mixing them with non premixed paints and that was not pretty either. And I’m not a fan of the way they dry. But kudos to you for persevering! Happy New Year to you and your guys! 🍾
Hi Michelle, great name btw 😉. When I don’t like my ring I just do a second one in the middle of the previous ring and that tends to fix what I don’t particularly like. Hope to see you try it and see how you feel about it ☺️
@@McEArt oh lol that will be interesting buying that. I had looked everywhere for silicone and couldn't find any. I was told it would be the same stuff you buy for seeing machines
@@debbiehart2008 yes some use that. I prefer dimethicone which this is. There are some pouring oils on Amazon and I have one i have tried on my Amazon store www.amazon.com/shop/mceart?listId=3FAKTISOIFPB6
