I really appreciate your video it's very informative. and as I went through watching questions came up in my mind and they would continually get answered. Thank you. I enjoy your content.
really appreciate the work! As a weekend warrior who handles the band pa/mons i am always learning! Would you be able to do a live soundcheck video to see how you gain stage and eq? Maybe you could record the raw feeds of a gig and then in your own time recheck them on camera? I appreciate that would be difficult with the speed you have to work at but one can only ask.... I will say i would be happy to contribute for such content
+joe clifford Thanks for the positive feedback and suggestions Joe. I'm constantly trying to find new ways to include more real world footage in the videos. Keep watching, there's more good content on the way!
Thanks for your videos. You’re helping me fill in some gaps in my knowledge of systems and processing. I’m mixing on a Allen and heath dLive. The subgroups have a 4-band parametric and a 31-band graphic. Question on workflow: my current way of using eqs on subgroups and channels is as follows: subgroups are used to get rid of feedback on a particular mic (i.e. countryman) and channels are used to adjust for specific voices. Is this close to what you’d recommend?
The video was informative and helpful, but the autofocus seemed to be going back and forth between focusing on his face, and focusing on the "DcSoundOp" text on the monitor in the background. That was a bit distracting.
OP replied to all but your comment. I didn't notice your issue, but rather the scrawled white text over a black background with white images was terrible to read, yet the information was important. All in all, fab videos and 83% comment respond rate. Thanks, DC Sound OP!
+Andy Nance The autofocus on my G7 is brutal, I gave it a shot & I'm back to full manual again... sorry for the focus drift! Thanks for watching though!
