Precisely what I’m shopping for as of the date on my comment. I’m moving from “the rust belt” to the west coast of Canada, so I need to find a vessel in the Seattle Vancouver area, or some where along the west coast so I can sail her to her new home up the Fraser river near Richmond, BC. I’ll be living aboard and then exploring the gulf islands for the 2022 season. Then another winter aboard, at the fresh water dock in Richmond and spring 2023, myself and two other armchair old salts (with the occasional guest as a fourth crew member for longer passages) will make “the big left turn” and set of along the Washington, Oregon and California coasts on our way to the Sea of Cortez. A journey I’ve waited a life time to make! My intention is to fit an outboard paravane rig for stability for the required off shore ocean passages. This beauty is the just large enough, and though I’d be sacrificing part or all of that beautiful Bimini, this vessel would accommodate the paravane stabilizing rig quite nicely! Perhaps even a water maker - hopefully the fuel and water tanks are large enough for the task - that could be the deal breaker on this boat. Otherwise she’s an incredible boat to refit for my particular use. Peace!
