I did 260km/h with Jaguar XJR and I thought it was fast, but... this car is a jet plane! Simply amazing.

This was the first video I ever watched about cars on youtube this is the particular video that make me fell in love with cars and now I am a mechanical engineer. Yeah, I still love cars.

@LS7TT i think this test took place on the VW test track in germany, where Top Gear took the Veyron to 407 and 417 km/h. the track has a long straight of a few kilomters. think the car ran out of straight road so he had to brake.

hows it feel? that porsche body was designed for speed did it buffett or feel squirrly much? was it twitchy? or was it a nice smooth drive like a rolls royce.

About production process, major difference is Bugatti Veyron is started from scratch unlike 9ff TR 1000 based on the existing model: Porsche 911. Veyron is all about ultimate technology including EPS, DSG transmission, comfort, luxury, reliability, and refinement. Once you understand what Bugatti Veyron (idea from Ferdinand Pierch himself) is all about, you will realize it cannot be compared to TR 1000.
