Your Cliff Retreat render is the screen saver on my tab, and it looks great, wont be changing it anytime soon. I know nothing about architecture. I know nothing about Sketchup, either. But even I can see the beauty in this guy's work. Someone needs to publish one of those lavish, glossy, illustrated books chock full of these images.
Its too bad that Sketchup can't do way more in his workflow. There hasn't been a significant feature added to Sketchup in yeeearrrs...like I can't remember that last new tool. Seems like Sketchup is the smallest part in most of his work. Photoshop is where things start looking beatiful. Why can't Sketchup get some new features to maybe grow the icon in the workflow ( maybe even kill off one icon)? Seems like only new features are added to Layout. How about bump maps & emissive materials ? That would be awesome. Sketchup as a presentation program is not good. Maybe a baking process to add light? I don't want rendering. I want to bake the light to the materials so you can still move around and look from different angles.
