@@ZugZugArt one question: what soft you used to create the model? How did you achieve these hard edges? My models from zbrush appears flat shaded, even with unwrap and creased edges..
Hello I'm new with this program. Is there a way to select a specific part of a model/or faces and hide the rest, so I don't paint over areas? Like, I have this low-poly head of a character, can I just select the faces of the mouth lips and hide the rest and vice-versa?
Hey, there! You can hide objects by mesh and materials near the layers menu. Also, you can hide by polys or not connected meshes by using hide tool(eye icon). Ctrl+x to u hide :)
Hi ZugZug! Great tutorial! I got the free 30-day trial for 3DCoat, but I can't seem to paint or fill any color to a mesh. Is there something I can do to fix this?
@@ZugZugArt Oh I see! I found a way to paint on the unlocked layers with the brush, but only white/black works, and it seems to paint the bump map of the mesh and not colors.
@@fuwabnuuy I recommend you to join our Art Discord with thousands of 3dcoat users :) and posting your issue with the screenshot, that way will be easier to understand what's happening
Thank you so much! It's actually one of the cheapest among 3d softwares. You need only 3dcoat Textura for texturing with one time payment for 120$, or student version for 1$, or use free version for learning without export
