Really like that launch got a rework, really fits with the more broken run down look of the other mavericks, and with a focus on rust and oxygenation, its really cool for the underwater boss

I love the idea of the rematch/boss rush mavericks having a worn down texture or pieces missing. Maybe even jury rigged new parts if you exploited their weaknesses too much. I.e Spark Mandril coming back looking beat up but with more rubber components you have to melt off before he's vulnerable to shotgun ice again. Or flame mammoth gaining a new aoe attack because his trunk was cut off and his new mouth sprays differently.

These are some fantastic ideas! Love that concept too! Too bad we didn't have that in the games. In my short films, they don't have their weapons anymore because it's right after X1 but I'm trying to figure out what their new way of attacking could be. These are seriously some cool ideas 🙂👍

@@DemNikoArt No weapons is a neat caveat, maybe for launch octopus X took his missile guidance system so now he drops mines and fires many more dummy rockets instead.

@@abdalln8554 You're really full of neat ideas! 😁 Great out of the box thinking! Okay, what about Boomer Kuwanger not having his Boomerang anymore? 😉 Currently working on Episode 5 with him and I have some ideas but what do you think? Would he still have his horns, since these are basically his boomerang? Depending on the version and depiction, they don't look like boomerangs. And without them, he would loose his iconic look.

@@DemNikoArt idea i had for boomer was to switch out his attack style now that his fancy boomerang is gone. Instead he's covered himself in spikes like an assasin bug and will try to shoulder tackle or throw smaller spikes at you while he runs. As for his weakness, he still takes damage from missiles but now that his combat style is rush down, he's close enough to X for explosives to be a bad idea.

@@abdalln8554 Very cool!!! I see that you put a lot of thought into those concepts :) I myself like to think outside of the usual mega man tropes and try to incorporate those into my films. Maybe I'll get back to you when I need some ideas or inspiration ;)

Hehe yeah maybe 😁 But be aware that capcom will come for you if you try to make a single penny off that game. They tolerate fan-made stuff but not when you try to make money with their IPs.
