In this beginner friendly video, we take a look at how you should utilize 3D people and characters in your renders. Firstly, we look at how you should not use them, and then take a look at how to fix these common mistakes. We also look at using AI tools to enhance your 3D people.

Finally found the time to watch this video, which I kind of requested a while back. 😀 As always, this was very informative and with good advice. I want to try your suggestion of using an animated character and pausing the animation in the right pose. Preposed characters are often not in the pose I want. I also want to try using software for posing characters, but that may be too time consuming.

I mostly agree, but I use characters close to camera with great success. You just need to avoid eye contact and to much details, there fore I tend to blur or smudge them. Also on the point of diversity you should always use a set of characters that are appropriate for the setting. Maybe older people don't belong in a preschool building and people in suits usually don't go to the beach.
