Awesome job. When I 3d printed my pack it wad my first real project with my printer. Like you said alot of research and hours comparing gbfans blueprints with stl files I had. My pack was almost 100% 3d printed. I use gbfans light and sound kit and wasteland smoke kit as well. I wish I had this video 5 years ago when I started my pack. Almost done with it now. Want to change my motherboard (plywood) and a few authentic parts. Awesome job though on pack and video

Awesome video. Joined the group and was a bit anxious about trying to build something this complex, but I'm really excited now.

I printed them with supports and they were MURDER to remove, but it did work. I didn't know until later no supports needed

I just wanted to start off by saying thank you for posting this semi-tutorial video. To be honest, if you had been in a flight suit and had a background of a workbench or even a lab table. It would have made me believe even more that this needs to be an intro video to any GB induction lol. Still a great vid man. RU-vid is easy to navigate and work through some of the hardest pains. Talking to a screen underneath the camera with a fake person watching you gives ya something to focus on instead of just the lens. Do you think teleprompters were only good for dialogue cues and telling you what to say? Try it. Might help next time you guys need to do a tutorial cause you’re damn good at it from my perspective. That said. I spoke with Konstantinos and he said that his boards won’t be ready for purchase til spring ‘22. But it’ll be completely customizable from GB1 to TVG in kits. He’s even working on the AL sound and light board as well. I myself can’t believe it’s been 13 years and only one guy has come close to finishing the TVG pack on all the mechanical functions (Phoenix Pack). So my stupid decision goes directly to the tippy top lol. And this is going to be one heck of a build. Just keep an eye out for a ‘Golden Rookie Pack’ blowing peoples minds.

Fincher Technologies also has a pretty complete TVG pack with the bumber mod and everything. I don't think his cyclotron lights pop out like the Phoenix pack though

@@nickg666 Yes, I’ve been following them as well and for now they’re just getting back into the game. They’ve done a lot of work as well as shown that off to the right people. That’s why they’re heading up the new line stories have stated. Unfortunately they haven’t been any help as to details or nods in the right direction as you have good sir. The gentleman who has done the Phoenix Pack has managed to get the bumper, rods, and N-filter to eject or tilt as shown in the game. Which is already pretty damn impressive. I’ve seen a vid or two where he’s gone into a bit of detail as in how he constructed some of the sequences. All very informative and helped me design an even more functional (complete) mechanical sequence including all the stream sequences (side stasis lights, booster tube with slime sequence, and meson collider ION arm charges). Like I said. I was just surprised no one else attempted to do what Phoenix and Fincher did in the past 13 years. Glad Q is helping others like myself make this obtainable. Makes me nostalgic of the first time I went after the ‘Golden’ back in ‘09. I feel hope again. Thanks again man for the tips and of course the friendly reply. I’ll give you guys a shout on the FB page if I need any help.

Hi, I'm in the phase of the programming my Arduino, it's possible to find a circuit of your proton pack with the smoking release part?
@nickg666

This video is a complete overview of the electronics. About halfway through the video, I show all of the internals. This is a drop in kit. I don't program arduino, but this should get you in the right direction ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1BAS9DVaXTE.html

What 3d printer did you use?
@nickg666
@nickg666 Год назад
The one in this video was printed on an Ender 3. The build I just finished in my most recent videos was done on an Ender 5 Plus. The extra volume of the 5 Plus just makes it so that you can do the Cyclotron, Booster tube, and Booster box as single prints with no seams. This can totally be done on an Ender 3 or something of comparable size though. You'll just have to use some fillers to hide the seams

How much filament did it take?
@nickg666
@nickg666 2 года назад
About 3 rolls. I'd order a 4th for fails and reprints, but in theory 3 should do it

@@nickg666 Alrighty thank you so much, the video was very informative and helpful and for a video that has no editing it was really good 👍 Liked + Subscribed, oh and one extra question what percentage did you have your supports on if that makes sense?🤔
@nickg666
@nickg666 2 года назад
The only thing on the pack that requires support is the bumper. I know that sounds completely insane, but I promise I'm not lying. It uses sacrificial layers to avoid the need for support altogether. It's a brilliant design that employs both sorcery and witch craft lol

@nickg666
@nickg666 2 года назад
@@jonogunn The slo blo light is part of the Ninjatunes2001 electronics kit. One of my hat lights is resin printed, two of them are genuine. All of the lenses are in the Q file available to print. They work fine in clear PLA, but resin gives the best results.
