Last one was very cool actually. The hacksaw though, why? High quality filament and the bolts cost more than a complete hacksaw.
@OkesTreeProductions
@OkesTreeProductions 2 года назад
I thought the same thing. Only benefit I could think of would be replacing broken parts/ replacing for parts that fit specific needs. Even then though, you could run to the store and buy what you need in less time than it would take to print new parts.

@@OkesTreeProductions The only thing that's going to break on a solid hacksaw handle with replaceable blades is the blades, the handle will last a lifetime, while a 3D-printed one will not.

Hacksaw for wood....Nice

Great, a new revolution of plastic junk. Most everything you show is well designed, but would be so much better (durable, stronger, longer lasting, more precise, etc) made from metal.
@peterclegg2609
@peterclegg2609 2 года назад
I can appreciate your point of view but lots of people can't afford the equipment to produce tools like this in metal, an affordable option like a 3d printer gives access to a wider audience, from my own personal experience.
@m3chanist
@m3chanist 2 года назад
@@peterclegg2609 The hacksaw is far more expensive to produce via 3d printer than just buying a metal one that will actually cut metal as intended rather than a piece of wood to hide how flimsy it is. Junk, expensive junk

cool idea with the camera trigger on the printer. but you could just use Octoprint. it has a timelapse setting where you can choose it takes the shots with the printhead moved away

@@davidquesada8704 He sells the .stl files on his website in the video description. Idk what else to tell you. The designs in my opinion are pretty complex and have a lot of engineering effort and the router jig looks like it's 7 dollars. All this stuff would cost hundreds of dollars in any hardware store assuming you could find it because most of the jigs don't exist. Maybe in the future he'll put a project out for free, but I recognize the level of effort so I'm not sweating that he doesn't offer free stuff.
