In this video I build some more Von Ryan's Leapers to use in the Tyranid Combat Patrol from White Dwarf 497. Three Games Workshop Leapers, modified with 3D printed scenery on their bases to distinguish them from the first unit, and another three from Puppetswar on My Mini Factory, printed out slightly smaller to make them fit.
I then played them in a game of Combat Patrol and found it worked much better than in bigger games of Warhammer 40,000 where the Vanguard Organisms struggle to kill vehicles.
