The carbon filter is let's just say... less effective than advertised. Also, it is much more economical to buy reusable dessicant from a third party, as you can dry it out without needing to buy more packs Also also, I don't understand why bambu thinks a razor blade is a good idea to use as a scraper. I once tried using the metal scraper from my old ender 3 on the cold plate, and it left visible marks. Since then, I just make more and more of those printable plastic ones
@jackgamer6307 Agree, agree & agree. I have seem some hacks to replace the filter with homemade filters, but really it doesn’t stop fumes, just some dust particles. On the desiccant I have a tub of reusable desiccant which I will use with the AMS when the spares I have are used up. On the blade, PLA printed scraper is the best I have found.
Hi @magicmanspaz, Have you tried the green liquid glue, I have heard mixed feedback on it, a lot of it negative. Overall, and I am sure I am not the only one here, I hate using glue on the plate, it’s messy and can ruin your print look and quality. On the Bambu I use the PEI textured sheet for most prints because for PLA and PETG it doesn’t need glue. For filaments it’s hit and miss. But sometimes also you need a smooth finish. On the Prusa I use the satin sheet, and I have only ever used glue for TPU with that sheet. But it’s needs replacing soon because it’s well used.
@@T8Maker Have only used it so far on the engineering plate with cheap and it stuck down perfect and washed off the part easy and didn’t leave any finish blemishes unlike glue stick.
They are, and i think its because they were uploaded as HDR, i am going to drop HDR and use SDR for my future videos because i only realised with this batch that after I upload them they are dark for most people. Pondering should I try re-encodimg them in SDR rec709 and re upload and delete these. Still learning the video editing and encoding with RU-vid. Thanks for letting me know it confirms i have an issue. I hope the content is useful and the darkness didn’t ruin the video.
