@@justinanderson2598 you’re judging me? Have you watched my other videos or even know who I am as a person? I gave up my own ideas during this video , what does that say?
bro you just earned my sub, you may not have studio level quality but your content and execution was phenomenal!!! Don't stop doing RU-vid you are going to blow up one day!
This isn't a bad idea for beginners. It's just every 3d printer site sorted by popular, but new people may not have seen many of them, there's a few I haven't seen and I've been at it for quite a while now. What needs work is your delivery, please don't suggest selling models that people aren't really allowed to sell. It's a scummy thing and new people could get into some trouble because of it. I know I would go after someone selling my design without permission. I also see that you adamantly deny it, I'm not here to argue that. You specifically mention selling them on etsy/ebay and testing/owing markets multiple times. Scumbags are going to do that whether you tell them to or not, so you could advise against it instead of for it in other videos.
Interesting. I spend a lot of time 3D modeling projects for 3D printing. Lot of printers work well for so many projects. However some of these projects can't work in all types of printers like smaller ones. However It is fun to create sections that can be printed and joined later. Nice video over all.
You should "rap" the next list lol. Thanks for the list. I've seen the digital sundial. It's actually pretty cool, works accurately too! Agreed about the green, my dad had a blue one and either fits a garden IMHO.
If you want to buy someting cheaper than Prusa 3, I just bought Ender 3V2 and I'm happy with it. Sure, it is not as smooth experience as with Prusa, but it will do
All though it sounds fun and good to do,you can't just print and sell someone else's design. There is a lawsuit going on from this right now....you can not sell something that you did not create or design yourself......just a reminder to all that 3d print.i make my own stuff in a cad program and I would be pist if someone printed and sold my design without the right to do so....buy the patent if you want to sell it.....thank you rant over....
You are correct, but no where in this video do I see explicitly say to download and print others designs to sell. For example, Everyone is welcome to make their own version of a mask attachment or a mask accessory in Fusion. At the beginning of the video I mention MY mask exhaust fan idea and told people they can steal my idea but never did I say to steal others.
Hey man love the video but I just want to say for future videos and this video, you can't sell these without permission from the maker, you said countless times that you could sell these products on etsy, that's stealing. And from other comments of you saying "I did not print nor sell any of these ideas or say they were mine", yet on your etsy page there is a product you're selling for $60 that does not belong to you. So I'm wondering, did you get permission for that?
When did I ever say to download the model and sell that specific model, have you read the other comments? I can make my own vase, my own mask invention, this was for motivation and inspiration.
@@phenix_labs I really apprecite you protecting other designers, I never mention to download and sell others designs, I simply reference them. And at 2:04 say "I'm assuming you'll make your own version of what I'm showing here" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kC-8BddhiNw.html
These copyright issues need to be explicitly mentioned in the video owing to the huge volume of copy right violations that are committed all the time. I do see the disclaimers in the comments but it's better to have them in the video, cheers!
I was selling lots of among us guys around christmas. It was amazing how many printing nerds tried to shame me for it. We got some real righteous warriors in the scene.
In the United States, it is illegal to sell other peoples intellectual property without permission of the original creator. Even the CC license that you agree to by downloading anything from Thingiverse is limited to what you're allowed to do; or restricted unless the creator of the item explicitly gives users permission to sell their work otherwise it if only supposed to be for personal use. There are a number of creators, however, that do offer permission to sell their creations that you print available on Patreon.
Both are 4 step motor robots, a CNC does flatter larger items and subtracts (cuts away) material a 3D printer used melted plastic to create (additive) usually smaller 3 dimensional plastic items.
The only thing I'm interested in is practical things that I see around my house. I look around the desk and think, could this be 3d printed? Generally the answer is no at the moment.
Disclaimer: I will NOT be responsible for ennything that happens to ennyone for trying this or enny other idées that coms form this. If you do this, you do it at your own risk! I'm pretty sure having an exhaust fan on a face maske defeats the purpose of wearing it. So please refrain from that. ... Unless... Maybe, just maybe, you have a proper filter in front of the fan.
What printer would you suggest for a newbie? I'm mostly interested in prototyping and making functional parts. (not interested in making sculptures and pointless prints)
You might consider an enclosed printer that is better suited to ABS and PETG. Otherwise you'll have to do like I'll have to do and build and enclosure so your prints don't warp. I print props and figures so PLA suits me fine for the most part.
I've been a toy designer for 20 years. I could show you a toy design no one has licensed, patented or even thought of which , if made, could be licensed to every known license you could think of. I don't have the cash to do it. It's literally an original basic mechanic no one has ever thought of with a thousand positions. F**ked if I can do anything with it. Probably worth a million dollars to some 3d print guy.... I feel this guy with his "feel free to steal this attitude." Hack the planet.
Hello, I have a question. I am using Cura and an Ender 3 V2 When the printer made a perfect sticking 3 layers raft he begin printing to high. The layers wont stick the 4th layer. How can I solve this problem? Thanks,
BB- It's temperature or humidity if you have your layer height set correct , record the temperature and humidity of your printer area (sensorpush) , be in control of everything. Add a space heater or dehumid if necessary. Experiment turning off your bed completely.
@@hacklabdesignThanks for your answer. But its the Z axis thats wrong. My first 3 layers (raft) are perfect but when the first layer of the model starts to print the nozzle starts to high in Z axis. The layer is like floating 0.5mm in the air. My humidity is good I think.
Are there really many potential buyers for 3D printed items? Is there enough potential profit? Are there many cool items that the Chinese do not mass produce, yet? Are there many cool items that cannot be printed nicely enough on cheap home 3D printers? If any of the answers is No, then why bother?
“I made this for when I put my drone in my backpack for follow me mode” less than 1 minute in and you couldn’t edit that? Welcome fellow 3d printing “enthusiast” No one caught that before you paid advertising?
For the record, I’m not selling any of these (non patented) ideas, but I do use them for inspiration. Please share your ideas so we can all be inspired (or steal them and become millionaires on Etsy over night) selling Vases and tiny plastic catapults . I’m buying a Lambo with my $72 profit. What will you buy young Jedi?
@hackLAB Don't worry about the haters. I actually found inspiration in some of the things you showed. Specially the orange cable clamp. Unfortunately the design doesn't appear to be linked anywhere, but it is simple enough to recreate from the picture.
@@patrickives237 maybe it is irritating to watch , I think I’ll reduce my gestures , you’re right I appreciate feedback. . I also could’ve had more B roll of 3-D printing
Lol sell these things huh? There's already an overload of competition out there everywhere whereby now only creates the notorious price war that quickly forces you to reduce your selling price of the items and makes it a non-profit hobby just to fill your time for if you have nothing better to do
I appreciate your view. Seriously. But , I'm a hack inventor, and making printing random stuff, keeps me in the 3D game and my making machine oiled up. You got to keep moving with your Fusion skills and keep the extruder pumping. 1! week without printing my machine gett jammed up and filament dusty . Stay in the game Tymzr
And...What about affiliate sales of 3d printers, selling automotive parts I explain on my other videos, being ready for 3D Printers to be 10x as fast, inventing a simple medical device that helps people? Our biggest competition is our minds telling us we cant do this, Its not worth it.
Designers will end up moving to something like cults where they can charge for their designs with people giving advice like this "go download this file, print and sell, ignore the designer...) you are doing the community a great disservice by what you are doing in this video. Thingiverse has licenses, that no one abides by because it's honestly just an honor system, but you cannot have an honor system in a world with no honor.
I think I'm making this a discussion, it needs to be talked about. Also, Were talking about 3d Printed plastic not Drugs, Murder, Abuse or illegal actions. You Make good decisions, don't listen to a 50 year old RU-vidr .
