Wow, exciting to see Multiboard used like this. Would love to see the STLs for the custom parts

First and foremost, that's a well thought out and awesome design. The rings attaching the panels together is genius! Can't wait for the final product! Question: Would this case only be good (airflow-wise) for open bench and water-cooled configurations? I have considered 3D printing a PC case in the past, but the need for a sealed case for airflow reasons has stopped me in my tracks. I'm sure it's fine and it'll work, I'm just wondering what the difference in component's temperature would be if you stress test the same system in a traditional case vs your design. 🤔

Thank you so much for the comment! So airflow is a really interesting topic. It's been said that an open air bench is the best cooling possible for reference part coolers. Now my engineering background says that the best cooling is the method with the highest mass flow rate. To achieve that you have water cooling, as water has a high specific heat capacity, or larger amounts of air (thus more mass flow rate). I think this case would perform very similar to open air, but worse than a wind tunnel if that makes sense. Cases today feel to me to actually choke airflow more often than not and part of this design was to simply/maximize parts functions without needing a whole bunch of additional fans or hardware to build this at home. Something I didn't mention in the video is the cons of having a fully open case like this, such as dust and dirt getting into stuff. This case isn't perfect by any means, but I feel it's a good combination of features and (unparalleled) flexibility.

@BrockBuiltStuff Fair enough. Also, each main component has a fan (or multiple, in the case of the GPu), so I don't see it the case as a big issue. I might need to purchase the files from you once you are out of Beta. I'm curious: As far as standoffs' locations, are you threading right into a small hole on the printed part?

Great question, so yes the motherboard standoffs go straight into the plastic. I though about doing a threaded insert but had a hard time finding the thread in an insert that would fit such a tiny part.

How many wholes have this biuld :D ?

I think the rough map was over 150, but the screws also have holes in them. So everything is a hole and then do you count both the hole and the screw hole? Ha it's way tooo many holes to say the least.
