Just got mine today, works soo well, plug and play without any setting tuning and it prints out perfect!

Any idea how to get the software to work, would freeze and tried updating to their newest firmware... Now it is a paper weight with menu stuck on auto leveling screen and it does nothing

Got one of these printers four weeks ago. My first ever printer and it works great. Only problem was user error, not cleaning the bed. Now I wash with warm soapy water and all is fine again. I have gone through almost four kilo's of filament so far. I just got through printing a weight driven mechanical clock in PLA and it runs great with no part adjustments after printing. Definately an easy machine to use.

Yes! I learned that the hard way too. Do not touch the bed if you can help it. I find that a good alcohol wipe of the bed between prints will work, and a dish soap and water wash after every third or fourth print... This keeps the bed nice and grippy. Always watch your first layer and cancel at the first sign of lifting. I usually do a mesh and z-height calibration every few days. Maybe overkill... But you can't do that too much.

Keep the filament in a Tupperware container with desiccant bags while you’re not using the printer!!! The humidity gets into the filament and makes your prints have mega spaghetti,

Hey there bud, perhaps you can help me, Now, I'm trying to Print a Trophy which is 8 inches Tall in Height, bur, all I get in the settings are mm and not Inches. how can I sort this out so i know exactly the size?

I mean... you can know the exact size in millimeter, much better than inches... Measuring to the nearest millimeter is more accurate with a margin of error of 0.5mm and can be used for tasks where accuracy is essential. Measuring to the nearest eighth of an inch is less accurate with a margin of error of 1/8" and should be used for tasks that require an extensive range of measurements.

Same but I've only had mine for a month ! Auto leveling apparently doesn't work and that's the reason I bought it

get one for the kiddo when their in grade 6, that way they will have some prior knowledge of CAD software, printer operation etc before highschool in case they wanna do subjects that involve 3d modelling and cad, also you can get access to autocad software through state education without even proving your a student, i sent a photo of a banana to the id checker and it approved me

Waiting (very patiently) for support from MriscoC third party software. This is a GREAT printer that is crippled by bad software. It's like having a high performance sports car with wooden wheels. The lack of advanced control features like "host action commands" makes a like filament changes via prusa slicer and Octoprint very difficult without serious (above my knowledge) gcode changes. Again.. It's miles ahead of the E3V2, but sadly crippled by bad software and seemingly lack of customer support.

Bind to the heat bed? You clearly didn't print a lot on this. This bed sticks waaaaay too much. It's like supports on TPU: welds to the print, almost impossible to get apart.

@@sontosh007Don't print ABS on this without first upgrading to an all metal hot end. Polymer fume fever is seriously not fun. Also without a heated enclosure printing ABS will difficult with all the warping.
