This is a brilliant video! It shows the very basic user like me how to produce a simply stunning product. It is ideal for school projects. So simple to follow and I cannot believe the quality of the end result. Showing this to my friends they could not believe how it had been created so easily. Many thanks for sharing this. If you put painters tape on the wood before attaching the pattern it will be easy to remove the pattern. Matthias Wandel. Would be proud to know his pattern is being shared on other sites.🤪 I have been following him since he started a channel on RU-vid. Nice job.
Thanks for the reply, last Christmas my Grand Children “8, 13, 15 years old” we’re here and wanted to make something on the scroll saw, The 13 year old Granddaughter chose a very intricate pattern of a tree. And I forgot to use the blue painters tape trick I sanded and sanded in order for her to take it home. The tape will also act as a lubricant for the blade.
jet41ace I bought mine from a local machine shop. But you can order them from online. No mine do not have pins on but I do believe you can get the spiral blades with pins on. Hope that answers your question
g menasco 50 mm x 45mm but it has to be a soft wood , if you decide to cut it that size, as it is almost impossible to cut that size block of hardwood on the scroll saw. Unless you have a bandsaw which does not limit you as much. Thank you for your comment
It’s called a spiral blade / the saw has teeth on all edges of the blade meaning that it can cut in all directions. And then the size is a No1 which refers to the diameter of the blade and the curf size it will cut
