A common question I get is "how do I work with my model across the rooms in 3D coat" In this video I'm going to show the process of navigating your model through the different rooms.

So what I just realize is, that with using the modeling room for your basic objects, and then bring them into sculpt room to sculpt silhouette altering details onto it, you could basically spare yourself the retopo or any needed alterations to your initial low poly in the end, if your bake works out well enough. Only thing you likely need to redo or at least re-unfold would be the UVs. Pretty crazy. I didn't realize that the addition of modeling tools in 3D Coat with the already long existing Conform Retopo Mesh feature kinda unleashes this powerful opportunity.

Exactly! I was hoping that came through. That was my goal. I would just say that at the moment the modeling tools aren't quite as fluid as other more standard modelers, but the potential is there for sure. The conform topology is such a nice compliment to the modeling workflow, for sure.

Yes, it can. You can author both voxel and poly modeling.
