Hi Joseph, I just wanted to follow up on my comment/question. I found in order to move the way you explain in this video when using Enscape on top of Revit you need to set the 3D Connexion settings to use camera in the navigation settings. Once you take some time to practice it is really great to use!

Thanks for the video - great review and as other have said, great CAD model/house. Would either this mouse or the basic other version of it, be also beneficial for people who primarily use 2D AutoCAD? I have an injured right arm and limited hand function, which is unfortunately going to be lasting for some time, as I await various medical tests, surgery and long rehab', so am looking for an alternative to a traditional mouse. Also - can they both be used left and right handed? Thanks.

Hi Joseph Kim, I've been using the SpaceMouse Pro for 4 years, but until now I have some problems with Revit, particularly with 3Dviews where the Pivot Point is not in the center of the model, or in the center of the section box. Do you know how to solve it? Because for other programs like sketch up, Rhino or Navisworks, it works really well. Thanks and good video (I think I will switch to Endscape because 3Dconnnexion doesn't work with Lumion hahaha).

Does the mouse work when modelling on revit or is it purely for enscape and presentations? The house looks amazing btw

Could you share your spacemouse settings with Enscape? How do you set the orbit point when moving through the model? I can't figure out how to pivot around a object. It seems to pivot around the center of the model instead and that just doesn't work!

I am trying to rotate around a object similar to when you right click on a object. When I rotate with just the spacemouse the pivot is far away and so it does not allow me to rotate around a object similar to how you show going up the spiral stairs. Are you pressing something to be able to do that? From what I see you are doing your walkthru with just the spacemouse. As of now I need to use a combination of spacemouse and mouse. I can't get it to work the way it works for you.

Thank you, just some tips for the future. 1. Talk about the drivers and the software, some hardware fails because of software and vice versa. 2. Talk about the extra keys, are they programmable or not, since they are the highlight 3. you didnt touch on extended use. 4. you didnt try industry standard softwares (Unreal, Maya, Blender, Mari, zBrush) Thanks again and great video overall :).

I came here for the mouse review but now want that house instead :D

i really like the buttons on the bigger space mouse pro. especially since on my company desk i had the even bigger entreprise version. that one had very small hard clicky buttons. this medium spacemouse has real "keyboard" type buttons. much nicer to press especially with a pinky finger AND considering, that selecting multiple objects in a cad program like in every program requires to hold down the shift or ctrl button while selecting. those smoother buttons are a better fit for this task.

What's not clear to me about the whole thing is how very 3D this SpaceMouse is, because you're practically only moving in two dimensions - but very fluidly.

I love Space pilot pro but find 3dconnexion terrible in keeping up with software updates. Can’t use my space pilot on Sketchup 2020. Great product but beyond useless support. I would suggest you rather don’t become reliant on this product because you will spend a ton of time waiting for support which sometimes takes years!
