3DS Dock USB C Mod Teardown 

Just a Quick Teardown of my USB C Modded 3DS Dock. Hope this answers some questions people had about how I did this. As 3ds's are still pricey picking up an old dock and modding it to have Type C is much less costly. If you want to have Type C to Type C charging you need to add two 5.1kohm resistors to the middle two pins on the Type C connector. That way It can work with PD chargers. I just leave it connected to my monitor so I didn't do that this time. If you would like a nice example of what that looks like take a look at my DSI Type C Mod as they use the same port as the 3DS.
