In this video, we will learn how to uninstall a MacroScript from 3DS Max. Also, we will learn how to delete the toolbar or the quad menu from the user interface. In addition, we will deal with the issue of the deleted UI element that, after deleting it, appears again after restarting 3DS Max.

Couldn't find 3ds max File in Local folder. I installed some plugin, Now when i want to get a Bitmap or anything, a Very complicated menu opens which i dont want, I want to Unsinstall it, I installed it with a script

Thanks Miled. I am creating custom toolbars. I have renamed them and simplified the categories. It started with "My-Scripts", then was "GTScripts and now it is just "GT". But when I reboot I get several Toolbars with all those names, even after I have deleted them from the Customise/Toolbars area. Some of these toolbars also have missing (detached) scripts. How can I properly delete a toolbar? Can I edit or merge the best bits from several toolbars? (I am looking at text editing the Workspace cuix file, but there has to be an easier way f doing it.)

Try creating a new custom workspace from the upper right corner, after deleting the scripts from the ENU folder, and the toolbars, click the new custom workspace, then click the button on the right that says Save Default State

Suggestion: that would be awesome to have a Chamfer modifier that worked in a "percentage" way, just like in Blender. The Chamfer modifier does not currently follow the edge flow, which causes lots of overlapping, depending on how tight certain areas of the geometry are. The workaround is to use the Connect tool to create "support loops" and turn on the "Limit Effect" option in the Chamfer modifier. But it's still time-consuming when we have lots of chamfer operations to do.

Hi, this is not a quick script that can be achieved quickly. I need to think about this when I have some time. It's a nice feature that should be built-in

I think this might help you. You can do the command SwiftLoop (I think it's "Alt + 1" as hotkey) to insert an edge loop where you want, and then use Ctrl+Alt to click and drag the loop and it will line up the edge loop really smoothly, and different than the standard inserted loop.

@@abdulabdanahib9617 This is a well-known issue, it's related to the way these toolbars were implemented by the developers, and obviously there is a bug there that wasn't fixed until now. The only thing is to keep updating these plugins and hope for a fix.
