Looks like a great servo, and at that price looks like a winner. Dang, servos have come a long way! Im gonna wait until i change the chassis rails. Been wanting to drop the whole rig significantly, so will need to either chop those rails or buy something. Then custom links seem necessary to miss the motor, and I'm wondering if a change of shocks would be better on such a LCG setup. Still need to dig into it all, just need the time and spring has been a b!+ch. Lol Thank you!
How did you fit a 27mm long servo? I'm looking at my stock truck and the servo is barely 21mm and there's no way I'd be able to try to fit even 2-3mm without hitting the leads on the motor. I'm looking at the back of your new servo and its right where the back of my stock servo is... so I'm very confused. I can't move the servo any further forward cause then the horn his the front of the chassis and the front clip. As a side note, the slightly sped up audio is terribly distracting.
Ah.... I see, the wheel weights I had stuck on top of mine were hiding some of the geometry and making it look shorter due to the protrusion at the base of the horn gear instead of it being even all the way across the front. Now it makes more sense.
